    So my brother and I were derping around in the living room, when suddenly he asked me "whats a parry and a riposte?"
    So i said "i'll show you. Try to punch me." He takes a hearty swing at me. I knock it away
    "Parry," i said, then i punch him in the stomach "riposte"

    He learned the hard way. One must never take a careless swing.

    you should have been a bit more accurate and when he went to his knees you should have held on to his head and gave him the "finish him" move just so he knows.
