Cosplay build

just wondering who you guys think i should do for my cosplay build. im stuck on either crestfallen warrior or solaire(i know has been done to death), also petrus,quelana, and domhall are possible candidates. I will be using only the right gear no switching weapons or anything, although i will be making the weapons elemental.

do petrus, ive only seen one which was exactly the same, it was pretty awesome.

I like to cosplay bosses or lore-based builds. I find some of the characters a bit boring in terms of stats/weapons. Although a Quelana cosplay would be very fun to make, as I never done a pure-pyro build.

yea i was thinking petrus or domhall would be pretty original cause ive never seen anyone actually using the right weapons with them. i think i could pull off a few wins with petrus but idk about domhall since the crystal sword cant be upgraded and buffing would break character.

i want tolvos opinions on this i know he loves his cosplay

EDIT: also im thinking of making this a low level build to either co-op or invade with.

Don't do Solaire or Crestfallen, Solaire is very common, and Crestfallen is mine! :x

Use whichever one you like man, my advice is always carry a Wolf Ring though so you can take hits. Domhall is a bit hard to pull off, because his weapons don't really do much damage, as well his armor is very sub par. I do Chaos Witch every now and then and it can actually be very successful, but a bit of advice. You'll find that most of the time you won't be locking on, and using your camera angles to aim your pyromancies.

Although for Co-Op people always love to summon Solaires, so that is an option. Always remember though, any cosplay can become viable provided you upgrade their gear, I've had some success in FC with the Chain chest and legs, and leather gloves, heater shield and long sword as the Crest Fallen warrior. As long as you keep your gear upgraded, you can really use any character.

the cleric armor is one of the besr medium armors in the game and the morning star does good damge(specially when buffed) and a B in str, i use it a lot for bosses with slb and it kicks ***.

With that Rant the Western shield and Knight shield both go well with the build. Upgrade those up and you have some decent protection, maces aren't that bad either.

yea i think i might go with petrus i kind of want to try domhall cause that seems like the most challenging. im not worried about the weapons or armor. check out these stats i would make the character from scratch.

yea i agree rant i have the cleric armor +10 on one of my main characters i use it and elite knight and knight.only thing is im not buffing im going to make it fire but im only doing things the character does like force and heal are the only spells i will use. i guess elemental and buffing are the same

i think fast rolling petrus will scare people. i admit i could replace some vit with faith. maybe say 57 vit 30 faith

Bah Fast roll, the medium roll is all you need if you ask me.

For the spells he'll be using he really doesn't need much faith, especially considering he won't be dealing damage with them.

I never see an issue with elemental weapons for Cosplays, sometimes you need to deal damage and just can't in any other way with the build.

yea thats exactly what i was thinking. but now having wrath of god and sunlight blade sounds a little cooler and more in character. its a difference of having 1874hp or 2060hp. only problem is i dont like relying on buffs maybe just have an elemental also

have both then, an elemental and a +15 morning star, and yes on the 30 faith, there is only two choices when making a faith character, either 30 or 50, no in between.

its decided then fast rolling petrus it is. 54 end is extreme just to have fast roll but i think rolling just make the cosplay that much better. although im not as much of a purist as tolvo who uses medium roll 8)

I have to disagree with that Petrus build, I know Petrus is a troll but you can make him more strength based. You can have the faith @ 12 (supposing he is a wolf is sheep's clothing).



Edit: Check the AR of the Mace with 40 or 50 strength first, if you dont like it switch to elemental.

Just realized! he uses the morning star and theres only one in each playthrough i will have to choose until ng+ which im not sure if i would bring this character into ng+

choose fast roll! call me crazy but i already have this build to lvl 50
just from last night
i did a little trolling at the undead parish with him and laurtrec npc
summon it was fun as hell. i dont have wog or sunlight blade yet so just
a chaos morning star +4 atm and i got the cleric armor to +7 last
night. i did that a lot faster then i expected.

Yeah, I think it was the same guy who summoned me awhile back - a Japanese player as I recall. Even his face design looked EXACTLY like Petrus, lol.

Too bad his armor will never be the exact same.
