Amazing Burg PVP

For the last three days the burg has been a real hot spot for PVP. I used three different toons lvls 120, 50 and 140. At first I put down my RSS down just to see if anything came of it and to my surprise within about a minutes time I was summoned to a world where there was a host and two phantoms.

I bowed at the host he bowed back and then at the pantoms and the dules begun. Once again I placed my sign down and was summoned again to yet another host with the same set up. all dules so far have been 1on1.. I have been doing this for the past three days from 6pm est to about 2am est. I have taken some serious beatings but it has been fun, I even seen some names that I recongnized from the forms.

If you're ever itching for PvP it seems you can always find it at the Burg .. I guess I found it late .. I know befowler has stated this was a good PvP spot, but I never thought it was this active.

It is the spot most japanese players go to for duels. Generally there are less farmers there, due to the fact that you need to leave the Bell Gargoyles alive. Most people there will be honourable, but ocassional a few donkeys. Good place all in all.

Yeah the dueling folks seem to have fled the Kiln for the Burg. It's pretty easy to host since you can either leave Taurus alive in NG by just going out Havel's door into the basin, or just roll over into NG+ and not proceed past the burg. There's a lot of traffic not only in RSS, but regular invasions and DMBs at 120+. As I mentioned a week or two ago, at one point in there I saw a gravelord sign, dragon sign, red soul sign, and regular summoning signs all at the same time. It was awesome.

are we talking the first bonefire you encounter in the burg? you dont need to keep the gargoyles alive. Just tarus demon who you can bypass by using the master key. its an area that can easily be kept open. keep that in mind for ppl about to make new builds.

Huh? No you don't.

.....anyway, I have found that the Burg is a great PvP area at every level as well.

Although I sometimes wait around there with my high level toon and have some pretty hilarious one shot kills on low level invaders.

Ive been getting great duels at 120 with my drag eye

Lat time I got there it was full of farmers/griefers.

i gotta have crappy luck cause i every time i go there all people do is fish for backstabs.

I've had a fair number of that too. What can you do? They are everywhere, but the ratio has been relatively small at the Burg compared to Kiln.

I have to say in all the hours I have played in the last few day there was really only one that kept using the back stab and it seemed as a last resort. Everytine I got him down to a sliver of life then he would pivot , roll, poise or anything he could to survive..lol He was damn good at it to..Needless to say I need revenge..lol

There were a wide range of styles and weapons used. everything from the Syth to the Rapier. No Magic or WOG.. come to think of it there were only two guys that used spells one was GC, But i realized he only did this to set you up for a R2 move set.. he would lead the fighters with it. the other was the CSM ..He only cast it once though. In the 8 hours I must have fought 12-13 diffrent styles..many of whom whooped me good..lol
