Your opinion on Dark Souls PVP?

So what problems do you have?

For me its the lack of balancing,poise,the havels ring,amd horrible lag.

I generally enjoy PvPing, so long as my opponent is fairly courteous. However, I've come to accept that there are always those that only BS, spam WoTG, etc.

Only thing that comes to mind that really needs work would be the latency issues. Nothing beats getting backstabbed from halfway across your screen.

Oh yeaah should of added spammers,and yeah the latency is horrible

the lag ruins it for me, thats about it. its hard to get a host that has a good enough conn to not get any lag.

Well there would be alot less lag if they had some D-servers.

I think its fine, though could be improved from lagginess and such. However i believe everyone has their choice. Lightning w.e it may be. Hell i enjoy gankers, i like beating them haha. If you use your wits, you can beat any enemy!

All the problems mentioned exist, but none of them are anything more than annoyances. Overall the PvP is still great.

For every spammer, lag-stabber and griefer I have 4 or 5 great duels.

I just came to Dark Souls pvp from diablo 2 pvp and this feels like a more refined version.

I enjoy it alot, wish they would make it more stable though.

While dramatically increasing cost and upkeep, and putting a time limit on how long PvP will be available.

Regarding the poll, PvP is fine. Pivot backstabs are a broken mechanic, but it has nothing to do w/ PvP.

I have yet to find one of these WoG spammers everyone talks about. I've only come across ones w/ 3 casts and 9/10 times I avoid all of them. It's a useless spell if used incorrectly.

D-servers arnt very expensive,especially for a huge company like namco.


As for the pivot backstabs,they effect pvp and bundled with the latency can screw crap up bad
