Nice work on the helm skare and cloud, nice find on the weps Tolvo.

On the helmet - Face of a fool, potentially belted on, wearing a bunch of repeated medals. I'm thinking Dom might just be inspired by Loki. Instead of having his mouth sewn shut he had a metal helmet sealed over his head.

On the sword - So it looks like the longsword is grown directly from the ember while the greatsword is upgraded along the path the player uses. The crystal knight being of Zena would be an nice connection between Seath and Dom. I wouldn't put them as allies but they obviously work closely.

Also very disappointingly last night I had an epiphany about ... someone. Unfortunately it was on a way to a party where I got drunk and now have no idea what my epiphany was. Hopefully something will jog my memory.

Tolvo, just looked at the crystal set. Some similarity and some not. The spirals are stylistically reminiscent of the birds. The nautilus designs near the color on the crystal are similar to ones one the belt holding the daggers on the adventurer set. The use of cloth is similar on the shoulders and the masks are both engraved. The pants are quite close but the boots on the adventurer set are tighter and primarily leather. The crystal set looks like it has bronze pieces. The gloves on the crystal look like work gloves and the adventurer ones are tighter. The chest on the crystal pooks like and overcoar made of leather. Tue adventurer chest is actually chain mail with cloth accents. Colors are similar as well. They could have originated in the same place.

Tolvo I cant find if you wrote this but how did your slumbering dragoncrest ring test of Domhnall? Also EpicNameBro gave me an idea. He was talking about how Seath is blind so aurul decoy might work on him. It may work on Domhnall during combat as well.

No effect, he acted exactly the same. I just said I did notice his one dialogue though if you haven't bought enough from him he'll say, "I don't see anything here." I don't think it's related, but boy would that be overly obvious if it was.

Hmm, and the horns symbolize wisdom. Also, does the Four King's design anyone else of the Great Lord armor? I'm not saying, "My god they're so similar!" I just mean I've noticed some aspects, but they don't really look alike. Also, according to the Trophy, the Four Kings have tons of little arms growing out of their bodies, I never noticed that before.

Yeah, imagine how I felt when I had to examine Gwyn one time on NG+ with Binoculars, no Ui, and the Hawk's ring. I still did it though!

    Hurrah

    Found nothing of interest.

I have one of those jokes about Spousal Abuse...But maybe it isn't too appropriate for the forum haha.

By the way, just thought I should mention this. Laurientus' face is the model of the Easterner from the character creation menu. Just a little thing that has always bothered me.

He's one that I need to go back to. He comes across as pretty simple, meaning he's got to be up to something.
For things that bother me, on my quest for hammers I racked my brain to kill Rickert (spears, the last thing I usually try) and he drops nothing whatsoever.

Another thing of Interest, he goes hollow in search of the Chaos Fire teacher, which he can't find. He apparently wishes to hone his Pyromancies and become an even great practitioner..But he seems to never find anyone in the Swamp. But Quel is right there, wouldn't he have found her?

Then I remember the first words she speaks to you.

    "You can see me?"

    Very fishy.

Yeah, particularly because he only goes down after you confirm the existence of chaos pyro. Presumably you tell him where to go, in the nicest way possible

"Hey stupid, you live in the swamp and never noticed the big cave with a Giant Spider Centaur in it casting fire spells? What are you a maroon!"

I've actually always wondered if the Eastern and Swamp faces were reversed for males. The Eastern face for males doesn't match anything but Laur. And the Swamp face resembles the female Eastern Face.

In terms of characters who are so simple - Griggs. ENB mentions how its possible Griggs is a vinheim spook sorceror sent to spy on Logan.
Laur really seems like a loner pyromancer who was exploring the depths for ... power within? No much more likely he was searching for the chaos pyromancies. Except he it doesnt seem like he recognises the chaos pyromacies when you show them to him ... at least at first. When you refuse to show him he does he was "mistaken" implying he thought he saw what he wanted but because he trusts you he's sure he didnt. He does say he's trying to attune himself to the ancient arts. The ancients arts are the flame sorceries. But he does seem more interested in the chaos pyromancies rather than the izalith/demon catalysts. Also what is his accent?

    Griggs
    Spoiler:

Cannot claim all the credit for this one. A lot of the evidence presented I got from ENBs video of Vinheim. However the final paragraph is my own speculation.

On the note of Laurentias (pyromancy is my specialty)

He's characterized as a very lonely individual, most likely because of the world's view on pyromancy. When he was found an undead, he most likely went to Lordran willingly, probably in hopes to find someone like him. When you rescue him he is willing to teach you what he knows, if you want. If you say no he'll be saddened.

I'm always depressed when he's hollowed out, but I don't have it in me do deter him from his quest.

Even Qualaag could be, considering she might only be harvesting humanity for Qualaan. And then Qualaan, every time I think about what she says it makes me feel like an *** for killing Qualaag.
