by stinkers78 Mon Mar 26, 2012 5:08 amim on my 1st playthrough and cant get my weapons past plus 10. Do i need a special ember or blacksmith to get over the 10? my weapons arent enchanted or fire ect. just trying to figure out why i cant go any higher. ive visited all 4 bs's.

Yup as the other guys said. When you pass through the ghost infested areas you will eventually see a large chapel like structure, maybe even a man standing on the roof. Enter there but beware the many ghosts. In the room with the fire place there is a ladder that can be climbed to access the roof area where you will meet Ingward the Sealer. If you have the lord vessel then he gives you the Seal key otherwise you can jutst kill him he is basically useless.
Descend and run to a tower like structure with a locked gate. Open it and drain the water.
What the New Londo civic engineers were thinking putting massive flood gates next to the city I don't know.
To get the Very Large Ember go back to the area across the bridge where the inactive lift was. Go down and immeadiately turn left hugging the wall as Darkwraiths are about in the dark. To the left is another door way leading to steps. Follow them then go straight hugging the wall around the upper levels of the open area below. Find more steps and go up then when at the top turn 180 and look for a chest. It should be in there.
