Grant Question

Hey guys,

Right so i'm on NG+ trying to get the Grant, Sanctus and Paladin armour as I missed it during my first playthrough.

I kill Leeroy fine but he falls off his cliff. I now see his spoils floating 100 foot below in mid air. (I understand that he drops just the Grant and Sanctus am I correct.) So I try to fall and grab in mid air lol, did not work and I just fell to my death. Now I have no humanity so I am not in human form. I go back to where Leeroy is and his spoils are now nowhere to be found. I have tried quitting and reloading.

Do I have to now wait until NG++ if so I'm going to be pissed

Quit out and go back for it it should return at his spawn point. enjoy your new gear!

I have tried this, do I have to be in human form?

Not to the best of my knowledge no. damn. are you on xbox live ? and if so what sl? (if your 90-110 i can give you my set)

You don't need to be human, but it's gone. Dying resets everything, including dropped yellow items, I've done it myself just to see.

I am currently 110 and I'm on xbox live I am going to try again tomorrow now. If it still doesn't work I may have to take you up on your offer, thank you.

^ I am sorry but dying does not reset Everything. I have had the drop from chaos covenant pyromancer retained after death (I was playing awfully >.<) I teleported back and picked it up

I thought as much, damn. Will I still be able to get his armour once I defeat Nito?

Scrap that then if dying does not reset everything?

Odd, I've lost a few items to the void it seems then.

in leroy's case his items are lost if he falls over, unlike other npc's like kirk or so quit/reload dont work here... sorry mate, looks like you have to wait. This is why i always run in the cave and wait for him there, where the crystal lizard is so he can not drop anywhere.
come to think of it normally you would not be able to use the grant statswise on NG+ anyway, unless ofcourse you have leveled alot, so dont worry much.

I will not be able to use it as I am a str/int build but I was going for the Knights Honour achievement. I understand I need to go to NG++ to get another soul of sif but I wanted it sooner rather than later as I wanted to check out how cool it looks

Its not nearly cool enough for paladin leeroy xD I did once find a use for the shield however I had invaded and the other guy was determined to make me walk into a trap. he started bowing. I walked out of range equipped it and waited for him to get fed up

It's not exactly like that, there are 2 factors that reset scripts, dying, and reloading a game. Any items dropped by the player will disappear after 1 reset. But I think that items dropped by NPCs disappear after 2 resets. So if you kill Leeroy, you die/reload your game, go there again, and die/reload your game again, it's lost forever.
