I want to know whether it is worth picking up.

I still play it from time to time. It's AWESOME. I used to play it offline, and it was still very enjoyable.
I highly suggest it, particularly if you like Dark Souls. There's some major differences (learn to dodge instead of turtling, being one main one) but some consider it even better than Dark.

Rolls are 2x faster in DS imo. The DkS 1/4 rolls = DS 1/2 rolls.
I have someone borrowing my copy or else I would play it more.

I'd definitely recommend it. If you've played a lot of Dark it'll be easy for you to spot the elements that are a lot more developed in Dark, but if you enjoyed one you'll enjoy both. I just played through Demon's in order to try to forcibly stop myself from playing Dark, after 4 consecutive play throughs, and there were enough people online for me to have a pretty consistent multiplayer experience. Did some pvp and some summoning. My only complaint is that it seems like people are only fighting the Old Monk offline now. I waited to be the OM's champion for probably a combined 8 hours during my last play and it just didn't happen for me.

Lol I used to plate Demon's back in the day but never really put much effort into the game, not like with DkS, so I was just wondering if there is still a community for it.

I started the game a couple of weeks ago, I'm not sure about the community, I'm lvl 37 now and don't see any summon signs anywhere, hopefully at higher level I will, 'cause I'm seeing a lot of messages/phantoms

There's still plenty of activity, but problem is I dunno what kinda levels people go at to do certain areas..
It's still well worth going back to I think

I still play it. SL 63. It is awesome, and yes there are a lot of people playing it. There are white ghosts and bloodstains everywhere, and coop/invasions are still pretty frequent at the right soul levels (which can be hard to predict sometimes). I haven't played all that long, and according to my sign have over 40 coop sessions already. Last night I was SSD in 1-3 and rolling back and forth down the hallway while waiting to be summoned. I noticed another white phantom start to do the same thing, and after a while we were rolling in circles chasing each other as phantom images. It was hilarious.

I don't think so, the phantom started doing other stuff and eventually ran off. But I didn't realize you could see your own phantom somehow in either game, interesting. Will have to experiment

Hmm, interesting. I do know for sure in DkS that the phantoms can also be real time images. I was cooping with my brother at one point (he was host) and we got invaded at the Depths bonfire. The invader killed me and as I respawned in my world right at the same bonfire, I saw an indistinct "regular" phantom circling the area fighting. As it swung closer to my bonfire, it resolved into a more detailed phantom -- of my brother in his world, still fighting the invader. Just in time to see him die, heh. It was definitely not prerecorded or anything.

Anywho Yukon what times do you play. I believe my time zone is UTC+12 so if you could convert the time difference over to that I would be very gretaful for your help.
