Awesome 20+ min Forest fight.

Last Night Yesuurd invited me to the pits for some dueling and as I was heading down, the voice of doom echoed (My Wife..lol) unfortunately I never made it there in time. I then headed to the forest for some PvP to let out some frustration… it didn’t work, I lost 5x in a row, I was fighting like it was my first day …arrgghhh.



Finally after some head banging and screaming at myself, I started to get into the game again and was able to redeem myself by beating all the ones that had whooped me earlier. Then it happened the longest fight I have ever had in the game. We were both wilding Katanas and Rapiers. There was so much flipping we both scored a parry on each other, another invader came in but after realizing that no one was paying any mind to his attacks he backed off and let us continue.



I finally won the fight finishing it with a lung attack, it was great until the second guy back stabbed me right after I beat the first and since I was down to about maybe 50hp I was done. I didn’t realize how long the fight was going until I looked at the time. It was a great fight, there were no WOG no running no BS just tactical strikes, dodges and parries.

Sounds great! Hate it when people BS like that, so cheap....

Yeah - I always like watching a good duel when I invade - sorry to hear the other phantom intruded and then BS'd you when you were victorious but hurt badly. The other phantom should have let you heal-up and dueled you fair and sqaure.

I tell you I don't know what is going on with people now a days.

I'm glad that there are still duels like this to be found.

It's been a long time since I had a good match.

Oh Yes - Zenpachi Zaraki is my favorite character on Bleach. There is no fighter like him and he doesn't even have a Bankai (other than the power increase after removing his patch)!!!
If Zaraki ever develops a Bankai he will be the strongest - except maybe for the Old Man (even with one arm the Old Man is definitely the strongest).

Sorry guys we are derrailing a bit but I need to ask..Well this has to do with dark souls so not that much derrail, the old guy in bleach is very similar to lord gwyn and they also use the term hollow in bleach, was thinking the other day about those two things.

The other day I had a thirty minute fight against a group of farmers leading them around in circles, harassing, killing off a summon then harassing as they bring in another one. Such a blast, though I died in the end I kill the two summons over forty times. I invaded again right afterwards and killed the host, thirty minutes and four million souls, totally worth it I think haha.

Great job - now that is what I'm talking about!!! Never quite and never say die. Some of these campers just refuse to fight alone - they need their minions like they need their safety blanket.

I probably should have crystalled out frankly towards the end haha, I had around twenty health without any means of healing myself, out of talismans. It was a recipe for death, but hey with twenty health I killed one of them before finally being taking out by a stray WotG. We better be careful before we hijack a thread with forest hunter stories haha.

I'd have to say one on one fights the longest I've ever had was while hosting in the Forest, I was Lautrec of Carim. I Cos-PvP whenever I duel. I look at my invader to see a Brass set, the Darkmoon Knightess. We both bow then I notice they are standing still, so I wait. I get a message, "The firekeeper shall be avenged!"

I responded, "Well, look at you! I thought you were wiser!"

So the duel began and we danced, I parry and riposted her but she managed to harass me and keep the fight going despite her low health from the riposte and strikes. Finally we both did one final engagement after someone else invaded and I used force to knock them off the edge for rudely interrupting our duel. I managed to get a parry off, however it was the kind where you take the hit then parry afterwards. So given my extremely low HP I actually died while she was in the animation watching me fall to the ground. Such a great duel, man do I love Cos-PvP.

I had a great romp in the forest myself last night.

Story time!

So I'm on my new dex character sl 110 rocking a lifehunt build now.

After running into an infinite health modder in the kiln I pack up shop and head over to the forest for some new fun.

I invade in once or twice and run into some lower level bros rocking phantoms, kill them off easily npnp.

But then something amazing happened and now I can talk to animals, its really cool but totaly secret.

No what really happened is I invade into a new world and start scouting around, quickly running into a blue phantom who I can tell must be a new forest hunter. We walk around a bit shrugging no sign of the host.

Then I get a message from the host. The game has begun.
"Now or later?"

I scratch my head for a moment...What could he mean....
I shoot back a reply asking what he meant.
He replies- "For me to kill you both"

Oh this is gonna be fun.
Being a cynical Darkwraith and knowing this poor hunter with me has no chance I reply with a twisted "Him first, then me"

Moments later he messages me again "Kill the red one and we will forgive you."

BUT IM THE RED ONE The plot thickens...hes pitting us against eachother for his twisted entertainment.

I keep a close Eye on my companion...
Another message...."kill him now"
I waste no time, I turn to him and rush forward, he knows all too well and we engage, I make very quick work of him finishing with an ever stylish dead angle jumping scythe attack.

With no delay the host and a white phantom remove thier fog rings and rush at me from the forest. It was a trap all along....

The phantom casts TwoP and I take a beatdown.
I can tell tho that the damage and armor these guys are rocking is not the best I doubt they are even over SL70-80.

I shoot him another message thanking him for the fun game.
But the game is not over just yet. Back to the forest I go collecting my thoughts and bloodstain along the way.

I wait a moment for the invation timer and give it another go.
Sure enough right back into his world.

I run strait to alvina to meet the host, his phantom sitting there as a tree, Seems no tricks or games are in store this time.

I give out a shrug emote hoping they will simply duel me.
But no. out of tree form and directly into TWOP AGAIN. I flip back a bit trying to outrange it but they catch me smack me around and backstab me. I get up with maybe 2-300hp left and flip away. Panic starts to set in. Im flipping backwards wasting all of my stamina.

I snap back into focus and regain my calm, slowly backing up regenerating my stam and taking those few precious seconds to decide what I should do now. I'm in a pinch.

I make up my mind, a True warrior does not die on his heels!
Im reading their movements as they close in, the host is lagging about 5 paces behind for wiffing too many attacks, and the phantom is carefully placing each strike trying for that fatal blow. Hes my target. As he swings again I do a simple back hand spring, not a roll And catch him with the leaping scythe r1 (you scythe guys know what im talking about) bam an easy 400 damage.

He shrugs it off and they keep advancing even harder then before. They are thirsty for blood...and they are making mistakes.

I keep my cool....Nows the time to take a risk.
The backstab...It will kill or at least give me a few more seconds to edit my gameplan.

As he phantom closes in yet again, The stars align and I time it perfectly, sprinting 3 steps past his left shoulder for a lock bs.
The host can only watch in shock as his ally and plan fall lifeless to the ground.

the host swings nonstop thru the animation trying to tag me or get a lag bs as I roll out. But to no avail.

I use his wiffed attacks to pop a humanity Im sure he cant punish.

Now its 1v1 and im back to full hp, oh how the tables have turned.
I waste no time and rush him down.

He raises his shield and slowly backs away.

*CLANG* Running r1 sliding off his shield. No matter one point scored for my bleed meter.

2 steps for stamina...take a breath...

Again I rush with an r1 followed by an r2 CLANG CLINK. 2 MORE POINTS.
I keep rushing at him.

I try another jumping attack but he rolls it clean. He throws an attack to punish but I spring back launching another leaping r1 connecting.

He rolls but my follow up r2 sweeps him out of it. He has maybe 1/3 of his hp left.

The it hits me....the bleed meter..how has he not bled out yet...what was that 6-7 hits? I think to myself.

I waste no time, rushing at him but stoping short he predicted the r1 and rolled, I time and throw r2 instead catching his shield as he leaves the roll.

*CLANK* *SSLRIIRP* The bleed procs and he falls to his knees.

I bow. Fade to black. Returning home with another humanity.

The forest is where funny things happen.

I invade as a hunter, a wraith gets killed = 800 000 souls, I kill a sunbro = 700 000 and then the host = 700 000 (approximatively, I don't remember the amounts exactly), and it happened in less than 10/15 seconds.

I was pretty happy, I should've thank those farmers.
