I need to work on grinding my sorceror a little bit for NG+ and Gwyn does anyone have any suggestions? SL 84 and I am also part of the forest hunter Covenant so I can't grind there (plus in all honesty 7000 souls is nothing at my level)

I use the giants in londo, just before o&s. 40 seconds to a minute when your fast & 10.5k if you kill the 4 giants & black knight. More if you kill the bat wing demons but i usually don't because the run takes longer.

I tend to use the painted world for grinding souls. From the bonfire run to the slow spear guys, kill them, run back to bonfire, rinse, repeat. I think they give around 7k souls a time correct me if i'm wrong. This doesn't sound a lot but the method is very quick.

if you kill gwen, the 2 npcs where the giants are before O&S give 5k each. hit gwen's bonfire, run out, kill them both, homeward (bone), if done right, can get about 10k+ souls ever 20-30sec, if that

This method works well, as well as the Painted World method above.

I find that the Dark Anor Londo Henchmen method boosts my faith up high enough and then I switch it over to the PW spearmen which is much faster with WoG and the ring that boosts miracles and the Silver Serpent Ring.

You won't need much armor for that part, they usually won't be able to hit you.

PvP is going to give you the most souls IMO, especially if the char you're making is going to be a SL120 PvP toon eventually. I'd say switch to the darkmoon or darkwraith covenant and invade while you grind, wherever that may be.

Dark Londo was easiest for me in NG. Warp to princess bonfire, jump down and kill the two Darkmoons at the bottom of the stairs. Using a Silver ring and symbol of avarice helped a lot. If you don't wanna darken your Londo, bright Londo can net over 20k quickly if you have the right equipment. If you've invested even a little in a bow go get a bunch of poison arrows and go to the Londo fire. From the steps you can three shot poison the giants guarding the Ornstein and Smough statues (left and right of the bonfire entrance). If your bow does about 25 damage per hit they will die from the poison. You can also hug the balconies and get two more giants for six there. With no ring/symbol that nets 9000 for 18 arrows. Hawk ring can make this easier if you haven't upgraded a bow. After you poison each giant move to the next. Leave them poisoned and run to the giants after the lift. Kill them in your favorite manner, a good bow for me did this without fear of being attacked. Then you have an option to go left and kill two or three gargoyles and circle to the Silver Knight....or....go right in an kill the last two giants with other creatures being optional. Heading left to the gargoyles is the safer route as you will only make them and the knight aggressive and fight on pretty ideal terms. You can use a bow again to non aggro the last two giants.

Use the dark anor londo 2 knights farming ideal if you're that needy. It's the fastest way but you need lots of homeward bones.

However just PvP and Coop gets you plenty of souls. At that level you'll get summoned for gwyn or four kings pretty quickly so you could do that.

In my opinion though, 84 is fine for a level to enter NG+ at. You don't really realise the jump in difficulty until you get past quelaag on NG+ anyway

If you are decent at PvP you can just be a host somewhere and get tons of experience that way. I'd recommend the painted world mainly because it has a lot of PvP in that SL range and because those pink blobs with spears in the middle give you plenty of souls, one Tempest or a few soul spears and they drop.

Painted world in general is definitely a souls bonanza. I farmed souvenirs there from the harpies. I actually managed to get about ten without any real time investment and still went up a few levels just farming four harpies per run and the seven hollows to get to them. Although if you're farming harpies a powerful bleed weapon is my recommendation. Two hits with a Lifehunt +5 in NG+ and the bleed tears them apart. They usually die before they completely land.

For a sorcerer, you should just keep going through NG+s. The bosses will give you more than enough souls to level up, and you can collect spells as you go. I like to go to at least NG++ to get 3 x CSS, and by that time I've easily reached SL120.

I like Tomb of the Giants, from the second bonfire farming the skeleton beasts. You need a max pyro flame with either Great Fireball or Great Chaos Fireball. Kill the first beast, drop down, run to the other 3. You can lock on from out of range. After killing 4 you can Homeward out.

When you get it down it's 8640 souls in about 30 secs with symbol of avarice and the silver ring.

I like to grind through anor londo from the second bonfire to the boss door killing all silver knights and giants along the way. I know its not fast but it will net something like 25k to 30k plus if you drop your summon sign at the bonfire there is always a chance to do some jolly cooperation. I can usually grind that area once through every 5 minutes. Plus if you have an OP weapon and are good at parrying (great place to practice) then the silver knights give a bonus on NG.
