Really out of it.

I've been preoccupied lately, and these are the consequences over the past few days:
Char-1 :Lost 1,200,000 and 15 humanity to......an effing Spear Hollow in the burg. (sl 90)
Char-2 :Lost 500,000 and 30 humanity to A Silver knight
Char-3 :Lost 200,000 and 20 humanity to an Ent. (sl 40)
These have all been between yesterday and today.
I think I need a break from Dark souls.

What have been your biggest losses?

About 3 million and 40 humanity although if you are carrying that much you probably have no need for it like I didn't.

I spend spend spend since I'm not capping so I rarely lose more than it takes to get to the next soul level. I did however, lose my sanity for awhile after being thwarted in my attempts to progress through B. Town twice in a row by the same MOSQUITO!!!

Did it somehow kill you, or just target lock you off a ledge?

I hate those mozzies in blighttown. They are even worse than the malaria carrying kind we get around here. I can tank a hit from a black knight, but a mozzy hits me twice and I stagger? (off a ledge, usually)

7mill 40 humanity

I constantly spend my souls on consumables, so I don't really die w/ many, but a few weeks ago my controller went wack after grinding out 200k souls and 25 humanity. Walked right over an edge in the Valley and then walked right into a hollow while I got a beer after getting pissed.

I've been a bit ill recently and passing out at the oddest of times. Well I accidentally the other day passed out with my Cat Ring on...Yeah, I didn't lose anything...Except my dignity.

Lol.....Good question Befowler. I have never been 'squitoed to death. Somehow it was acting like a backstab fisher, got behind me and this combined with the gentlest of nudges sent me plummeting.

I was listening to a podcast while running down into the depths and started laughing very hard, I closed my eyes, wiped some tears away, and saw the message "Cursed."

I'm getting better, still a bit weak but it is going away I think. Thanks though.

I really hate freaking Blighttown, I don't know why but I die a lot in that horrible place. The last time I lost like 300,000 souls and 10 hunanities...

4mill and 99 humanity, lost it to that damn glitch in the stairs leading to the kiln. i was pissed!

85 humanity and 230,000 souls to the freaking pack of broken sword hollows upstairs in the Parish church! Stunlocked for the win. At sl 19.

1.2 or 1.3 million and 80-something humanity. But that same character has been carrying around 99 humanity for quite a while and is bound to lose it sometime. I need to find something to do with it that doesn't require endless covenant offerings.

Pop one on, and your bloodstain will remain if you die while trying to retrieve it.

(At least that's what I was told... I always put one on when I die now but haven't died while retrieving my stain yet.)

How, just how do you accumulate millions of souls? It's mind boggling.

NG+ ~triples souls per kill, even more for bosses so you can get a lot fast. Don't listen to them about PvP, you don't get that much per kill and players who suck at it (Like Me!!!) can't accumulate very much income.

Yeah, I don't do PVP either. Not on purpose, at least. By the time the upgrades start getting up to the half-million mark you get really used to switching to the Silver Serpent Ring and the Mimic Hat in that window between killing a boss and getting the souls for it. 4 Kings give you like 340,000 alone.

Between 31 and 45 (max casting speed) it's a tiny fraction of a second. I would say it's a nice incidental bonus of having 40+ Dex on a build that can take advantage of the scaling, but don't level it just for the casting speed.

It's true. I'm an expert at dying while trying to get back to my bloodstain.

This weekend I died 20 or so times trying to get to ToG. You know how when you start getting frustrated, you play worse and worse? I kept missing that stupid jump to the ledge in the Catacombs!
