It's the worst.
Don't cheat your way to victory and then be a smug ******* about it.
Never wanted to slap someone so much in my life.
This one sounded like some fun.Marino. wrote:On PC .
I was Invading the Township at SL50ish, there was a guy standing at my Spawn Point with the Stone Greatsword .
He used the 2H R2 attack which normally would cast TWoP .
Instead it cast WoG, slowed me down like Twop, Cursed me, gave me an Egghead and Teleported me 1000 Meters over the Abbys where i would gracefully -that "getting cursed" Animation is graceful- fall to my doom .
I was able to see all the Effects before i got Teleported .
Luckily i just respawned at the Township Bonfire .
No, it wasn't !!Odinbear wrote:This one sounded like some fun.Marino. wrote:On PC .

That's a great way to look at it. Optimistically.reim0027 wrote:Worst experience? I've met a few hackers. Personally, I don't give a "feces". They hack, any victory on their end id voided. They win? Who cares. It is like claiming victory over an anthill by dropping a grenade on it. They send hatemail? I LOVE hatemail/taunts. Shows their prepubescent character to me.
They are nothing more than a mild nuisance to me. Life's too short to worry about these people. This is a great game, but just a game after all.
Those things would bother me a lot more. That would ruin a lot of hard work for no reason other than to simply be a d-bag. IMO, those people who play by that mentality (people who purposely try to ruin another's game in such a devastating manner) deserved to be permabanned from online play.Hatsune Miku wrote:That's a great way to look at it. But what if it was a hack where they killed a blacksmith, or drained your SL to 1, and such. That is something to be upset about. All that hard work gone out the window.
Are you on PS3?Shampow wrote:I was sl20. Was about to fight the bell gargoyles. Got invaded by a invincible giantdad, and had to run the fog gate to escape and had to fight the bell gargoyles alone. (My controller also died two times in the fight and still won )
That's not necessarily a hacker. You can get up to 2633 hp legitimately. And the wrong animations thing could simply be a bug. I've seen zweihanders and demon's spears behaving like longswords, but when I invaded again they acted normally again.Maplepop wrote:Undead Burg...
Unfortunately I ran into some chap who had 2000 + hp armed with a Zweihander that had a running attack akin to a Rapiers'...AND he was ganking!
Yeah, it's a glitch.Elifia wrote:That's not necessarily a hacker. You can get up to 2633 hp legitimately. And the wrong animations thing could simply be a bug. May I ask why revealing details of a glitch is considered wrong on this forum? What's the difference between that and mechanics like poise and such? They come from the base game itself, not from actually editing any code. Just wondering.Soul of Stray Demon wrote:Yeah, it's a glitch.Elifia wrote:That's not necessarily a hacker. And if it was running attack, it was the Moveswap glitch.
It is one of the quintessential rules of the forum. We support fair play, not manipulation of the game to achieve results that obviously are unintended, such as the moveswap glitch.Soul of Stray Demon wrote:May I ask why revealing details of a glitch is considered wrong on this forum?
