Speed run through most of it. Don't farm souls too much. Get to NG+ and your souls will hugely increase. Get your chunks in the Kiln and pures where you need. If you're good at Sif, you don't have to buy the crest. Take the back roads to get to him.

Increased souls tip. Run through the Catacombs (speed run = VERY fast). Speed run through ToG and get the Silver Serpent Ring (this takes some practice). Die or Homeward Bone out. Equip the ring. If you need other rings, then quick equip it after you beat the boss to get the extra souls.

I replied to your PM. You probably knew everything I suggested though. And, 13 hours to 120 is pretty damn impressive, IMO.

    1. Start with Master Key
    2. Run around Firelink and the graveyard outside the catacombs picking up all the lootable souls on corpses
    3. Go down to New Londo, picking up the lootable soul there, then suicide run to the Firekeeper Soul.
    4. Go down to Valley of Drakes, and loot the soul from the Undead Dragon's hand (don't activate him by picking up Astora's Straight Sword and the Dragon Crest Shield just yet)
    5. Continue to Darkroot Basin and pick up the Grass Crest Shield
    6. Head back to the Valley of Drakes and pick up Astora's Sword and the Dragon Crest Shield. Escape if possible.
    7. Head to Blighttown and suicide run to pick up the Crimson Robe set and the Firekeeper Soul, as well as the lootable soul above the Firekeeper Soul.
    8. Pop all the souls you looted and head to the Undead Burg while powerlevelled and in full Crimson Set with either GCS or DCS and (if you plan on going INT or FTH) a Tin Catalyst or Astora's Sword.

Takes about 15 minutes of just running, no real combat required, but maybe that's just me happy

    - Masterkey

Make a run for the Gravelord Sword. I've used that thing at only +2 to speed-run the entire game--so it will definitely cut a lot of hassle out of any area!

Once you have that, take the backroads. Go through New Londo/ Valley of Drakes to get to Darkroot/ Parish and take out the Bell Guargs, ring the first bell. Then head back down through New Londo/ Valley of Drakes to get to Blight and kill Queelag, ring the second bell. At this point I like to kill Ceaseless for his souls, then Homeward bone to Sen's bonfire.

The rest is pretty straightforward: go through Sen's, go beat S&O, get the Lordvessel...

It all really depends on what your goal is. If you're just doing a speed-run, then it's straightforward. If you're making a build, then you'll want to get some specific gear on the way. So really, the only thing that's constant, is the masterkey. And I'd suggest the Gravelord Sword for a weapon that you can get right at the beginning of the game that'll take you all the way to the end if you want. Once you have that, you can get everything else you want along the way.

(Oh, by the way, you'll need 16 Str to 2-hand the Gravelord Sword... So you can't do this if you wanted a build with base Str.)
