I notice that the wiki mentions Chaos scales with humanity, but only lists the base damage, leaving out the possible max damage for each weapon with 30 humanity, adding this would make comparing chaos weapons to other upgrades much more convenient.
If I'm completely missing something let me know!

also no, thats a valid point, but would be hard to get people to do it for each individual weapon so kinda impractical XD

People have already listed the base damage for various +5 chaos weapons, all they have to do is equip it with 10 humanity and write it down. It is as practical as listing the damage for any other upgrade for any other weapon which the wiki has. This is a major part of Chaos weapons.

yeah I know but thing is some information may be taken from other websites as opposed to researched themselves..

and I know of people (myself included) who make a say Chaos+5 weapon for trophy/research, then downgrade/upgrade again to another ending for a different level, i did that form y research of specific weapons so that i didnt have to do loads of playthroughs for each weapon..

basically you're also saying that we should list all the damage bonuses for weapons on all the upgrade paths in addition to chaos, because if its only chaos, then it definitely is incomplete

just take into account that a chaos +5 will out damage a fire +10 at around 7-8 humanity, along with the fact that chaos has more of a lean towards fire damage than physical

its not much of a difference, but that's all there is to it

No Sen, not like that, the Damage bonus isn't as major as it is with Chaos, Chaos is unique and i jsut thought it would be nice to have more information about it on the wiki since at first glance it doesn't look worth it to anyone.

I see your point. And it's not like it would be the most difficult info to research either, like you said (although involvement from the community as a whole to get all the weapons done would help speed the process).

Only thing is, that weapons on the regular upgrade path don't show scaling damage either. We know the scaling stat, but only see the base damage rating for the weapon, like chaos. This would then make regular weapons be disadvantaged at a glance compared to chaos.

BUT, more info to the wiki is always a good thing! And it would be very handy when comparing Fire vs Chaos, which people might be more prone to do rather than Chaos vs Regular... So, if you get the ball rolling, I'll help and add whatever info I can.

I have never made a chaos weapon to this day and i have had this game since it came out lol
