The people of Anor Londo are Cyclopse Empty The people of Anor Londo are Cyclopse

If they're not gods- like Gwyn, and they're not Giants- like Gough and the Sentinels, then they could be cyclopse.

Lord's Blade Ciaran's mask has only one true eye-hole- the other two eyes are merely decorative.

The painting Guardians masks also have only one eye-hole. The Silver and Black Knights have long necks and their helms have open faces splitting from the center. Artorias' helm has an open face in the center. All of these characters physiologically are different from the gods in that they have long slender necks and thin heads- and none of them have closed helms unless there's an eye-hole near the center of the mask. befitting of a species with only one eye. Ornstein's helmet's only form of vision to be anatomically correct would be for him to see out of the mouth of the lionhead- otherwise there's no way for him to actually see out of that thing- human head or not.

Another thing of note- I'm pretty sure all the painting guardians are female. Which would lead me to believe that Male Cyclopse are larger than female cyclopse. Thus explaining the size difference between Artorias and Ciaran.

    This reminds me.

Being the **** I am, I killed Ciaran. I wanted the armor.

Anyway, if you attack her, she will ask something along the lines of, "Why are Humans so greedy?". In a way that insinuates she's not human. And here Helemt(Or mask) has one eye hole in the middle.

The size difference between Artorias and Ciaran could also be accounted to the fact that Miyazaki portrayed bosses and some enemies as being larger then the player, the Berenike knights are a good example of this. But the people of Anor Londo are also an illusion, as most enemies disappear once Anor Londo goes dark(killing Gwynevere or Gwyndolin)

So what category does Gwyn come under? Giant or human? The opening does say "from the dark they came and found the souls of lords" so maybe all four of the lords were originally human and Gwyn made the Cyclops and Giants work under him? It sure is an interesting theory ^^

Gwyn wasn't necessarily a God, he was just a mortal who acquired a lot of power(Lord Soul)As for the Giant Sentinels, I think they were the guardians of Anor Londo commissioned by Hawkeye Gough,(A close friend of Gwyn) to watch over his kingdom.

    I'm pretty sure he is.

The only difference between Gwyn, and the Furtive Pygmy, is Gwyn actually did something with the soul he found.

The Pygmy(Where Humans come from), just kind of made more people with it. To make a short story of things.

Here's another discussion about it. Interesting to read the responses.

I don't think Gwyn is human because honestly, his sperm must be godly to make Gwynevere, right?
And Gwyndolin, snake-boy. The evidence seems to point towards him being a God, or at least akin to a god.

Isn't he the same race as Nito and the Witch of Izalith, anyway? Is Nito a human?

I agree with the OP, in fact I was thinking the same thing when I read the description of Ciaran's mask... after killing her... in cold blood no see, and also because of her dialogue.

In regards to the Silver and Black Knights, as well as Artorias: To actually be able to see out of their helms their necks would have to be "normal" sized, like Ciaran and the Guardians. The extra height on top of that could just an intimidation factor?
