That better be Sarcasm, otherwise I'm going to be vewy vewy angwy with you!

I wasn't enough of a fan of 1-3 to see them in 3D, I'm not even sure if I'll watch the original trilogy in 3D, I'm kind of dreading the next revised version George does. Such as digitally adding Jar Jar Binks to the Cantina.

Did you know that Lucas actually carried around a rubber stamp marked "Fabulouso" that he uses to mark production design materials that he thinks best fit his vision? Read it on starwars.com a while back.

Make of it what you will.

Haha, that is pretty hilarious. I always find it funny that the bounty hunter IG-88 was made out of the pipes and tap of the bar from the Mos Eisley Cantina.

I didn't know that. That is pretty great. And yeah in response to the revisions I have to say I was pretty upset about the last update to the Episode 6 cantina scene. Whether it's his vision or not some things are sacred.

Hey, Pokemon the movie is a real Tear Jerker!

See to me it's just because I was raised off of the original trilogy, and objectively there are a lot of issues with those films. I kind of see it as like, if a poor made sequel to Citizen came out that while better than a lot of other films held no candle up to the original. People mostly watched this version and found this one to be their favourite merely because it had newer special effects. This is a pretty crazy situation, but it's kind of like that. There is of course my own bias getting thrown into the mix too, can never forget that.

lol, i still don't get it, then again im not really into the whole star wars thing, it just looks like a massive money grubbing franchise to me with a giant sell out as it's master mind :|

The films are okay to watch seen each a few times, but I don't get that it's all that enticing.

That is another reason I do not like the newer ones, they do just seem like money grabbing. While of course there was some plan for a profit otherwise it would never have been made, the original just always feels like it has a lot more care and work put into it. I'm also not a fan of the acting in the newer ones, which I do not blame on the actors themselves. It is incredibly difficult to work in front of so many green screens with Lucas directing you. I can actually provide a link to a guy who really well sums up objective reasons as to why they are inferior, the issue is he is also an entertainer and his character is a serial, woman kidnapper, who does "Stuff to them," and clips of that and other things pop up during the video and can sometimes be startling. I kind of wish there was a version with that stuff edited out.

EDIT: Alright I'll link the videos, but mind you if you are wearing headphones turn them down or only partially wear them. If you have your head phones off this can get pretty vulgar and weird, so others will hear it too. Just try and focus on the Star Wars review, and not the shots of a basement that looks like a Mr. B Bill used to live in.

    http://redlettermedia.com/plinkett/star-wars/star-wars-episode-1-the-phantom-menace/

If he mentions his dead wife or demons/possession, get ready for a pop up of either a car crash or some screaming fiend.

And it is worth mentioning he speaks with some incredible Bias against the Phantom Menace, though it is again for the entertainment factor. His actual arguments make sense, but then he makes dry comments about how it is the absolute worst thing in existence.

I wonder what the hell is even used to make up that sound? Usually they use combinations of animals to create the noises of creatures, but that one just sounds like multiple edits of a guy going "Whoooooo!"

I always found that scene to be really haunting in the original too. Like Luke's out in the desert alone and the sand people, who I always found to be absolutely terrifying, as well as the creepy little Jawas are around, and here comes this hooded figure and scares them off with hardly any effort. Pardon my unpolitically correct term but in the revamp he trundles up and howls like a retard. I mean there's really no other way to describe it.

Politicaly correct is the new racism. I really wish i'd been closer to wars being public domain. Unfortunately unless lucas dies tomorrow & i live too 96 i wont see that day.
