    Castlevania Cosplay Empty Castlevania Cosplay

Post by SadPanda Thu Aug 29, 2013 11:34 pm

I remember doing a Simon Belmont build, but it turned out to be ***. So maybe I could get someone elses opinion for the build. It's a low SL, so I won't post stats.

    RH1: Whip
    RH2: (an axe?)
    LH1: None
    LH2: None

    Head: None
    Chest: Leather/Hard Leather Armor
    Hands: Traveller's Gloves/Wanderer's Manchette
    Legs: Hard Leather/Wanderer Boots

    Equipment
    -Firebombs (holy water)
    -Poison Knives (regular are useless)
    -Lloyd's Talismans (they just fit)

    Spells
-Possibly TWoP to simulate time stop

I usually end up abandoning a build if I don't do it right, so I want to make sure it's perfect.

If this is the old ps2 version you have the armour wrong. He wears a long coat like the chester jacket, (think that's his name, the merch outside of artorias area). Don't remember using an axe but he does use swords like a short or long sword. The whip is good because it's his main weapon. TwoP doesn't fit but it's your build so use it.
As for legs, he wears pants because he is a royal family member or a dukes son or something. Been years since I played so I can't remember his background.

If this is an up-to-date build, I can't help there since PS2 was the only version I ever played.

That was the one for PS1. Symphony of the Night. Alucard is Dracula's son and he's the one with all the swords and a trench coat. I'd see why you confused them though, since you start as a Belmont and can play as one again after you beat the game (can't remember if it's Simon or Richter).

The one I have is Lament of Innocence. I just grabbed the game out of the closet storage. It is a Belmont, but it's Leon.
I just googled your game and your armour choices do look close. Also, all of the pics I see, have him using a sword not an axe. If there's an axe in the game, go for it. But if you want it perfect as in looks, the sword is best, (according to these pictures).
Also, there are some pics with Simon wearing a trench coat, (probably because of the times and he must be a nobleman like Leon is), but most pics don't have it.

His main weapon is always a whip, but he can have subweapons (axe, knife, cross/boomerrang, holy water, and time stop).

sounds legit, classic belmont style. i can only imagine how crippling it would be to play that build, but go for it. and yeah, LoI belmont runs a long trench coat/tunic thing, which could be confusing i assume, I wish there was a way to mod the colors on 360, id totally run a blue set, because richter is a badass.

http://mmdks.com/3t2m not just pretty close to official art but also pretty strong. you could save many levels with baldurs sword but that toothpick doesn't seem fit.
