Heh first pvp footage and it's a gank. And there's something about the movement that puts me off a bit.

Actually to my eyes the movement seemed weirdly indentical to Dark Souls almost that they changed it "back" a bit, although the clip is so fast and short it's hard to tell too much.

Also could the song on the background of the video be from Dark Souls 2 soundtrack?
Sounds nice but kinda generic enough to be just any epic trailer song.

don't forget. DkS2 is still in testing phases so it could have been set up as a 2vs1. It could have been a red being summoned or an invasion. Too bad we couldn't get that in english

Who cares if it's gank, or questers. It's PvP, that's what matters.

Also, it didn't happen to any of us. It's just a video. Showing gameplay. Good find Juutas!

It doesn't look identical to Dark or Demon's but it looks approximately like what we're used to. I'm still excited.

It looks like he's talking about the summoning system, bloodstains to see player's deaths, and possibly PVP combat. It seems to cut directly after the usage of these things in the video, but I could be wrong on this.

Anyway nice find.

I didn't notice Pharis' hat, hopefully we finally get to meet him.

Also on this small new footage, the icon in the player's HUD (where in DkS1 was the humanity counter) is different from the previous gameplay demo.

I can say for sure one thing.
The way characters move and how the graphics look. Don't like them. Characters seem sluggish and slow and graphics are less realistic than in Dark Souls. Perhaps it's thanks to colour palette. It looks more simplistic, closer to Demon's Souls than Dark Souls, but the colours are brighter, more "positive".

I like that they added your phantom's HP bar to the menu, so now you can see their HP even if they're far away from you. Nice.

The symbol next to hosts HP and the one next to his phantoms are new.
Covenants perhaps?

So are bloodstains gonna be the same? I mean in Demons Souls you could see the person dieing really clearly in red but then in Dark Souls they were this pale grey that I could barely see and put me off using blood stains as much if I'm being honest. I think that's a bloodstain he uses just before the pvp bit? 

Yeh I know this isn't on topic but I was really hoping they'd change it back or at least make it easier to see in purple or something :/

Thanks for posting, had not seen this anywhere yet. Just a short clip of PvP but it is looking good. I'm really starting to notice the graphical improvements now, they seemed far more subtle to me before.

I thought those graphics looked fantastic.  So atmospheric, especially when the toon is holding a torch in one hand while he fights.  Can't wait.
