Kingseeker Frampt

So.... does anyone actually use this guy to gain souls? Not for breaking down titanite but for actual souls?

Maybe when I first played the game. There was some exploit to gain infinite Souls around him I believe too.
Now, I only test how much damage I can do to him when he starts rambling about me not being the Chosen One, because I spoke to his alter ego Kaathe.

If anything, I hate Frampt for opening the hole, draining all the water and ruining how nice the place looked. I'd feed him to the crow anytime if I could.

I never use Frampt I always just kill the four kings and join the dark wraiths, because souls are really easy to get and go to waste most of the time, and farming for stuff isn't difficult.

Plus Kaathe is just more bad *** in every way.

Yeah, I go Kaathe pretty much every time as well, I was just wondering if anyone made use of this "service" the devs put in the game.

I use it to feed him the coins you get in Anor Londo on the very rare occasion that I am not a Darkwraith. Otherwise, I just laugh at him and hit him whenever I go down to the altar.

When you give boss souls to frampt he gives you more souls than the boss soul can give you. except for Smough soul : he only give you 1 soul for it

 Its because Smough was unhonourable and ate the bones of his victims...  and Frampt/Gwyn didnt like that.

I like to keep Frampt around to feed him any extra equipment that I get. Like if I've got two of the same helmets, I'd feed one of them to him to make my inventory less cluttered.

I normally don't do anything with him, since I normally join the darkwraiths on an impulse now Frampt just waits there hoping that I'll come over so he can yell at me.

Mostly for ng, selling some of the more higher priced items means less farming for me.

I use him to see how big the damage numbers in dks can get, dark bead with red tearstone, bellowing dragon ring, dusk crown and power within... it still doesn't kill him though...

Well, I just made frampt worthless for you then.

I don't see a reason not to use him. I use him to break down titanite and to feed boss souls I don't need, since he does give more souls as opposed to crushing it (especially the Moonlight Butterfly's), except for Smough's.

Plus, when I was farming for Twinkling titanite earlier in the Crystal Caves, I got a lot of Purging Stones that I didn't need. I got 11,000 souls from feeding all of them to him.

I use him mostly to get rid of extra gear, i don't like having 2 of the same gear in my inventory :3
Plus, you do get souls for it. Better then just dropping it on the ground!

Yeah, I also use him to de-clutter my inventory and gain some more souls. On Ng+ my weapons list is so long it gets impossible to change weapons quickly, so give them to him and all other items I don't use later on. Trying to squeeze as much souls as possible out of every playthrough.
Never used his ore-crushing ability, simply never needed it. The other way round would be more useful, like if he was able to make 1 chunk out of 10 shards, or 1 slab out of 10 chunks.

Apart for listening to him snore, I never even interect with the guy. Worm. Thingy.
The first time I started playing I was so scared he'd attack me, I avoided Firelink like the plague. All the other times I just did the Four Kings and become a darkwraith. 

I can't help him having an emotional breakdown everytime I do it. He should be used to it by now. 

I just feed him all my garbage items when i don't like scrolling through it all. Keep things neat, ya know? And when i have items that are worth like a thousand souls or so because of their quality for builds i'm not doing at the moment i'll use him, or with boss souls which he can be fed to give more souls instead of consuming them yourself. I think for some of them he'll screw you over because of how he feels about the certain people though. He'll only give you 1 soul for smough's soul.
