I saw this on Deviantart and almost instantly wanted it, mostly just because its a different perspective + art style and would be kind of neat to see/play.

    This is absolute garbage.

I mean just look at it, look at it!  Sure the artwork is amazing, but look at Ornstein.

LOOOK AT HIM!  His Lightning is blue in this like real lightning!

    ORNSTEIN'S LIGHTNING IS YELLOW!

This isn't true Dark Souls, thus I suggest we totally boycott this image!

    No.. You're the 5.72% winking

Anyways this looks fun.. but lets be honest here that overhead view makes the O&S boss fight way easy, you can see both of them all the time, so not worth playing. silly

I would gladly play Dark in other reimaginings. I think it would be a blast to play it through the lens of other seminal games. I once saw some art that had Solaire, Lautrec, Elite Knight and someone I forget teamed up in Persona 4 combat. The enemy had been downed and it was the moment before the pile up, with Solaire saying something along the lines of "Well, shall we participate in some jolly co-op?" I instantly wanted to play that game.

Why do i recognise that second one.. I can't put my finger on it...

But I'd love to play these, especially when put into completely different styles.. I could imagine someone doing these properly, would it be that hard to do the first one?

Holy hell that looks awesome. I'd definitely play a different version of Dark Souls.

The art style of the second image though looks more like something from one of those Naruto games though.

    How about a Side-scroller Beat-em-up?

    Almost like: Start at 1:10

Except you know... without stick people and kindergarten animation.
