yes, MC ist Meat Cleaver and luckily there is no Crescent Upgrade Path for the Crescent Axe, so you can't make a Crescent Crescent Axe big grin
It's the thing the Fat Official are not using right - that thing is highly efficent esp. for low level toons

cheapest way for BP Selen is some lotus for the poison, thiefs ring, and poison arrows...but thats nearly cheating

Cheaper still, snipe her from the walkway with the clever rats ring and morion blade effect.

gravelord ring, sneak behind her bs her and dummy her as she gets up. I usually bs her then use HSA on her. Never lost to her yet

Graverobber* ring. Thieves ring is best friend PvE, I highly suggest using one on the Flame lurker boss. But that's neither here nor there. You can stealth through the entire swamp, only if you have the itch to explore and loot will you be met with difficulty.

Everyone's pretty much said all there is to say, but if you don't have time/material to craft a blessed weapon you can find a Blessed Mace in the first Valley area by jumping down off a plank into a nest. It'll be close by.

Also be weary of the plague swamp further on if you thought the poison was bad. thumbs up

I have never used a blessed weapon in DeS. In DkS the blessed weapons are great for the summoned skeletons in the catacombs or for Nitos aiding skeletons but here in DeS' world 5 what makes them so special? I always use a good Dragon weapon and that is enough!

Blessed in Des has a regeneration effect, it regenerates hp, so it counters the constant drain from the poison swamp.

At Sl15 the dragon weapon is prefect for you. However if you level up, its not so perfect, it's like lightning and fire in dark, it's got fixed damage and doesn't cale with stats.

    Divine micha happy
But as Cap said ^ use dragon. To me dragon weapons are still good at sl 120. But depending on your build at 120, there are better weapons.

This is a point where I have some problems! I have compared weapons fully upgraded with dragon- and with hardstones. S.b. told me that it is the same as in DkS: weapons with elemental dmg are better for low level builds as they don't scale with stats but do make good dmg. Higher level builds better should take S-scaling hardware (e.g. hardstone +10 upgraded ones).
But at srength 40 the dmg of the S-scaling weapon still is almost the same as the dmg of the Dragon weapon! And it doesen't make much sense to put more points into strenth than 40!

So I can stay with my Dragon claymore for ever, can't I?

you have to consider split damage!
same dmg pure phys is always better than split damage (i always substract 100-150 for a rough comparison from the split damage)

And strg weapon you don't upgrade with hardstone only +3 and then change in the crushing upgrade path with greystone.

Strg you can go up to 50 - afaik are the steps from 30-50 all the same. Over 50 you nearly get nothing from every step.

Also dont forget you cant buff the dragon weapon for extra weapons. the game practically throws that magic resin buff at you in 4_2.

I personally don't like buffs at all. They only last for 60 sec and they sometimes get me into trouble. I have to concentrate on a good timing and reaction during a fight. After the effect is over I have to fiddle with the left controller paddles. Then want to heal but have the sticky stuff still in the selection instead of the gras - no, I dont like it.

Of course, cursed weapon is very powerful I admit, but you need a lot of points to invest for mana and slots not good for low level toons.

Micha try this. Make a +10 weapon. Buff it with sws and see wut is stronger. If it's close to your dragon, use it. Yes it will run out but depending on wut ng you are on, it may be better. Don't forget for every ng+, the beasties become stronger making your dragon weapon weaker. And at some time, useless. I used to use a dragon halberd/mirdan all the time but found other weapons were better in ng+

Nah, with a good DBS or MC build you'll shine pretty decent even without the curse on 24/7. And it's not much to stock-up on some spice at a NG+ perspective. Also Light Blueblood Weapon combo is smexy too.
