To stay on the peak of your game at all times, real pros snort a few kilos of cocaine before playing, and sometimes a top off after finishing just to tide them over. I mean, if you REALLY want to play Dark Souls at the highest meta level, you should get into heavy drugs obviously. I don't even have a nose anymore and my skin literally crawls around as I play across my face. It's pretty helpful though when someone wants to use the TV when I'm in the middle of a match. Just turn around, turn your face upside down, shoot cocaine blood out your nose, and screech like a banshee. No one has managed to get me away from my PS3 for two months thanks to this technique.

I find ketamine helps best. Just calms you down enough to avoid panicking and maximise decision making ability

Don't you all know that only the most hardcore and competitive of players use Arcade Fightstick controllers? And don't skimp on the price, the cheap ones are weak and won't withstand the rapid pace of button-pressing required for even the most average of competitive play. You wanna win, you get yourself one of the $300, 8-gate, limited tournament edition ones.

Try have a little fun as you can while you're doing this.
If you have fun, you're ruining the point of Dark Souls.
It's all about the Elitist mentality, and showing your opponent you can roll bs.
Roll backstab, roll backstab, roll backstab, roll backstab, roll backstab, roll backstab.

Whenever someone kills you, yes call them every racist, vulgar, obscene thing you can thing of (you cancerous t---). Then when you *finally win* keep the hate going and if they respond then tell them you're going to make fun of them on your youtube channel. Your 2 subscribers will really enjoy that.
