Oh hey, you CAN have Japanese voice acting. ENB said you wouldn't be able to. What a horrible and dishonest person he is.
Huh, you can select custom messages.
I really, really hate Morgan's voice.

I think most people will pass on the game out of principle for it's content.

No I know a fair amount of people still getting it, generally people don't care about that sort of stuff in gaming. Most people just want a fun game.

Yeah, I guess. I remember there being a couple interested people in here, though.

Re: Dragon's Crown
Well, i don't like the Artstyle or the Sidescrolling Beat 'em ups Gameplay .
I couldn't care less about the Drama surrounding the Game even if i would like it, i cannot take Vidya Game Drama seriously.
So what ?
The Girls have big Boobs and Booties and the Men have Bizeps as big as their Head, big f*cking Deal .
Unless of course i'm missing something deeper, but i'm not going there .

Sadly the only time I've seen people actually boycott a product for principle is starbucks in britain when people just stopped buying from them.
Sadly it was only cus there's always a costa next door or something

If Dark Souls II has poise, I will boycott it on principle. So there's +1 to your list (maybe). I also do not pay for Sirlin Games's online services anymore because they made a business decision I didn't like. Wow! +2.

I don't really get it either. What would be the incentive to ever wear big-*** armor? Just to get slowed down?

Re: Dragon's Crown
So who is actually playing this game?
I haven't been into a game this much since Dark Souls. Once you get past 'normal' mode and progress to 'Hard', you REALLY begin feeling the heat of the RPG aspects, and your build really begins to matter. It's intense and ridiculously enjoyable, in my opinion.
I think the game does an amazing job at blending European Mythology and Culture with a Japanese style. Aside from the breasts that look like loaves of rye bread (the novelty of which, even when 'justified' as a 'throwback', becomes tired after about 7 minutes), I really enjoy the art and general take on everything. Combining those two aspects could have gotten very cheesy very fast, and having dabbled in classical mythology, I find it extremely true and satisfying (while still being really entertaining, too).
But anyway, the real reason I bring this up is because I'm hoping some people are as into this game as I am. I find the RPG/beat-em-up combo to be executed near perfectly, and the only problem is that people online don't chain quests together at the higher levels. So, if anyone is tryna play, I'm definitely looking for some legit onliners.
Either way, this game is quite amazing in my opinion. The Elf is my favorite, and I'm really happy that she is tastefully designed. So, if anyone is tryna play, lemme know. Otherwise, I'd like to hear people's take on it now that it's been out for a bit.

I want to try it out immensely, but I don't have a Playstation so I'm kinda on the outside looking in. It looked interesting which is why I created this thread.

Re: Dragon's Crown
Ah, sorry to hear you lack the PS. I was in the same boat for 6+ months when my PS3 YLODed (basically red ring of death but for PS).
Still, I'm just super impressed with the 'skills' aspect. I literally find it hard to believe that something that looks so chaotic and disorganized really requires such fine-tuning and precision. It really is a super impressive game, and I hope someone likes it as much as I do...
