    Straight pyromancer.

    I haven't played one since before 1.05 and i was wondering if its still viable. I was thinking
    40 vit
    50 att
    40 or 41 end
    16 str
    26 or 27 dex
    the rest base using
    Chaos gargoyals halbred
    grass crest shield or crest shield
    a flame for each hand
    knights chest
    giants gauntlets/greaves
    crown of dusk or mom
    bellowing dragon crest ring/ dwgr.

    Thoughts? i'm not sure how hard pyromancy was hit by the nerf but will it work/ will the ring@/or crown be necessary for it to work/ are they necessary at all?

    Numbers please, ex; saying 45 dex doesn't really help me, saying 30 att @ 45 dex does.

    I usually put mine at about 45 dex for pyromancy because it speeds up casting time.

    then what would i cut? i'll edit to ask but number comparisons would be appreciated

    You probably should cut attunement. I never really found a use for that many spell slots.

    Yeah, your att is WAY too high for my tastes. 6 spells is the sweet spot for me (23 att), 7 max. Put the rest in dex and watch how fast you can cast.

    Gotta agree with everyone here. Unless you plan on stacking up multiple Chaos Pyromancies you won't need more than 6 or 7 attunement slots, and pyromancy is probably the type of magic that benefits most from the Dex casting decreases.
