Canvas Talisman - SL57, PSN

Accidentally attacked Patches in the Catacombs while rescuing Maiden
Thorolund, and subsequently accidentally backstabbed him while trying to
merely push him. Needless to say, he is dead.

I would really
appreciate if anybody would be willing to spare a Canvas Talisman, as
waiting until after I defeat Nito in NG+ would be a tedious feat.
Obviously, would be willing to part with something in return for the
favor. Let me know what you need!

lol "accidentally attacked" followed by "accidentally backstabbed"! Sorry to laugh at your misfortune, I believe you, and it is an unfortunate series of events. I accidentally attacked Reah on the end of my Katana's swing once while trying to kill her hollow guards, and this was the character I wanted WoG on, but I got lucky that she had a sliver of health left so I could go absolve. Anyway long story short...

If I could ask. What's the difference between canvas and ivory?

Canvas is the strongest tali up to 39 Fth. Ivory gets stronger than Canvas at 42 Fth, but after 40 the Darkmoon tali is the strongest anyways.

Haha...well, what happened was: I always kick Patches off the cliff after her gives me the Twin Humanities (he never takes it personally), but obviously I accidentally attacked him instead of kicking.

I continued to try to kick him (so he wouldn't chase me all the way out of the Tomb), and I guess somehow his back was toward me and 'backstab' seemed to override 'kick'.

He actually didn't die, so while he stood up I unequipped my weapon and finally kicked him over the edge. 'At last, he'll stop chasing me and I can absolve!'

Much to my chagrin, though, Patches reached that little part of his trip where open air meets the ground...and Patches met that ground, too. I say you, he even liked said ground! He liked it so much, he never got back up.
