I always thought that if you put down a red sign, you were looking for an honorable duel. Now virtually every time I summon someone they either attack me while I bow, chain bs etc etc.... For example, in the Burg yesterday, 1st guy I summon launches an Avelyn volley at me when I bow - nice. What gives? If you don't want to fight dirty, just invade but don't try to deceive people who want to duel.

Re: Losing faith in the red stone
I've heard some people say the opposite, but my own experience with the Dragon Stone, which is similar to the red sign, was terrible. People summoning me were definitely not looking for a fair duel--they were looking for someone who tried to fight fair while they didn't.

Re: Losing faith in the red stone
I am sure their are people here that is in the same time line as hyou. jsut ask if any are, and post what your time thingy is. Sure such people in a simialr area, or at least close to it by an hour or two, can respond. Once you do, you can set an event. I don't know what timeline the FC is, but you can make an, I don't know, an Oceanic FC, or Europe, or so forth. Just find them and hold em to it.

Question: Is the Dragon Sign functioned the same as the Red Soapstone, in whcih their is not Maximum, but a Minimum? Would be a good replicant for the FC if they tried. Red and White show the maple leaf, they say.

I've had this before so I went back to hosting. But if I summon you and am standing well back and bow, my intentions are pretty clear. And by laying down a red sign, I would assume that this is what you're after. Otherwise, why bother?

Re: Losing faith in the red stone
I know it's pretty much common sense--especially if the host is bowing before you! But did you message him? I would have. Maybe he doesn't know he's supposed to bow before a duel (and not heal during)... I know, common sense, but it's possible!

Re: Losing faith in the red stone
I have messaged people but I usually get either the 'sorry - no english' response or nothing at all. I'm just going to host from now on - at least I know what to expect from invaders.

Re: Losing faith in the red stone
Some of it happens because of the time you are playing. If you play at different times, you may have a different experience.
EDIT: it that's even possible for you, given your schedule and sleeping time.

My experiences with PvP have grown bitter. I don't even bow anymore, unless they bow first.
