    Hey guys,

Don't know if all of you know but I am a freelance CG artist mostly work for advertising here since that is the only market which pays for my line of work here in the island so I just wanted to vent, I am blessed to have work but I have this huge 2:30 min project which is all animated for a kids museum, basically explaining how natural gas works etc...

Well to summarize I AM SO TIRED OF WORKING AND I NEED TO PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!! I MISS DARK SOULS!!!!!!!!!!

Don't you guys sometimes wish you could divide yourself in two and leave the other self working while you
    play?

Enjoy your playtime my dear friends....

I sometimes "work from home" and play DkS while I babysit my email. Typically only do this when it's slow though.

When I work from home, I'm basically just in Dark Souls all day.

That doesn't happen too often, because I really hate it when I get that emergency email that needs my attention right as I'm into something interesting in the game.

I would guess that a lot if not most of us who post on the forums or work on the wiki during the day are doing so from work, myself included. winking

I'm the opposite. Currently looking for a job, and it sucks. I'd much rather be working than have all this time to play Dark Souls...

But that's partly because I already played the hell out of Dark Souls, so I feel your pain! But still, I'd kill for a job right now.

Well my last job was modeling! (Not the 3D kind; the runway and photoshoot kind.) And before that I was a student-athlete my whole life... Right now I just want to get back into school to get a business degree and a real job, and in the mean time I'll take any job I can get.

Ahh awesome, my girlfriend is a model but she also works as a makeup artist which is her real
passion and she holds a degree in marketing but u know how it is, some people work for paychecks
some prefer to do what they love even if it pays less.

Haha it's often hard to tell the models apart from the make-up artist, I can see some of them doing both!

I'm sure I'll be happy in finance though--don't know if you could tell, but I like playing with numbers, calculators and optimizing and all! Anyways good luck to you and your girlfriend, keep doing what you love.

I'm in the same boat, on top of having my car's shifter break during the winter and only now being able to start trying to fix it, as for jobwise, I perfer cleaning. I have a pretty good eye for detail and can notice things faster than others, which while it may seem like a nice thing to have I see it as a curse as I'm the one to usually notice when the dog just crapped in the bedroom :|

It would be awesome if I could split myself in half. I take care of my 17 month old daughter (who I absolutely adore) from 5:00 am to 7:30 am (she's a really early riser), work from 9:00 am until about 8:00 pm, muddle my way through traffic to get home, kiss my wife good night, then play at 9:30 if I'm lucky. I blame all of my pvp losses on chronic sleep deprivation. silly

Somewhat similar situation to me here as well. I work in a kitchen at a school in town, so I get off work relatively early each day at about 1:30pm when the lunch hours for the kids are over, giving me plenty of time to Dark Souls when I get off work. Despite this, I'd much rather have a career than just a job like some of you seem to have...now if only I could build up the confidence to go back to school sad

You can do it! If you can beat dark souls you can do anything. Even if you only did part time study after work. And if you dont like it you can always backstab your teacher.

Working on this site has become my unofficial second career (and clearly the more fun of the two). My money making career is enjoyable and gives me enough freedom to spend time with the site/forums, thankfully. I would also like to thank smartphones for making this possible! I take you all with me everywhere I go!

same... except on an Ipod. with a good amount of freedom, people can enjoy work at times.

Oh please, I had to wake up at 4:30am 5 times a week for 13 years of my life to get to morning workout--7:30 is beauty sleep! silly Eventually you just realize: no matter how bad you have it (in this case, how early you get up), there's always someone who has it worse than you. And that's how I lived with it!

What sucks is getting to bed a 4 and having to get up at 7 and work an 8 hour shift of looking after those who cannot do so themselves because I got called in.... :x :x :x

but I'm sure there's someone with worse stories than that just on this forum alone silly
