Video Featuring Dark Souls Wiki

Greetings undead warriors!!!

My name is Phaerus and I would love to have the opportunity to feature this Dark Souls gaming community on my youtube channel. I have discovered since I have begun uploading videos to youtube that there is a vast Dark Souls community that many of our fellow gamers have not tapped into or in the very least are not yet aware of.  So I have embarked on an effort to highlight many of the different community aspects that have developed in this awesome game that we are enjoying. I have featured some fellow commentary uploaders, a cosplay uploader, the Dark Souls Gamefaqs community, and I would really relish the opportunity to feature Dark Souls Wiki.  There are so many great things that I have been able to take advantage of here on this site due to the hard work, and efforts of a lot of people and I think it would be great to provide this community some more exposure.  To be honest I didn't even know there was a forum here to be a part of until a current subscriber told me about it, despite how many hours I have spent browsing all the good stuff here  

I am only on Xbox unfortunately, no PC and no PS3, but what I have in mind is some sort of community wide PvP event that would occur on all platforms.  I am able to record on Xbox, and would like to link anyone and everyone that is able to record in the video I would make of the event.  If you would like to look at my channel and get a idea of what sort of content to expect - I encourage you to do so: https://www.youtube.com/user/PhaerusDkS

I realize that I am a brand new member of Dark Souls Wiki Forum, and while I see some friendly faces   , I would rather not impose if this is something you guys are not interested in.  So let me know what you guys think!

Sounds like a fun idea, I hope you guys on Xbox can join him in having some fun.  It seems like it would be a very fun event.  I just used the word fun twice, I must be quite tired haha.

Welcome to the community!  I am willing to offer up recording services on the PS3 and to contribute footage for the video.  It would really be an incomplete snapshot of the forums without all the platforms represented.  Juutas just began recording on PC amongst others, we can see if he is willing to help as well.  This is a nice idea and a chance for the community to show how special it is.  I'm sure the user made covenants would be chomping at the bit to jump in too.  We typically get great turnout whenever we do community wide events.

Thanks everyone for the nice welcome! I am glad that this is sounding like a nice idea.

I think it would be great to have all the platforms represented.  The more people recording at once the merrier!

Hm. I remember invading a guy named Phaerus. Can't recall who won. My apologies for if I in all likely hood spammed R1 with a chaos washing pole.

Would be glad to participate in the event. A cosplay tournament or some other gimmicky event would be a good idea. Anything but just straight up dueling. Wouldn't be too special then.

I think that with enough people recording, this would be really good. It's not properly planned yet(still a concept) but it sounds like an awesome idea.

The event has been created! Details are still being finalised, and the date is yet to be set.

LunarfrogI'm not sure if this could work as an event for everyone, but I have a plethora of gimmicky and unique builds that are still extremely effective.  

You could do a whole video on me killing people with rolling kirk armor, poison/toxin, a slow-walking tank, or setting traps with an assassin.

Sounds fun.  I'd be more interested in doing something that would involve everyone rather than just one person though.

Sure whatever everyone would like.  I am a stranger here so I am not really aware as to what sort of PvP events you guys do.  Something that involves the most amount of people possible would be best!
