The Lunar PvP group

This is a PvP group for people who want to practice and demonstrate nothing but their skill.  Battles between members aren't made for either person to win, but for each person to learn experience through battle.  Events for members and non-members alike will be made.

You wont learn how to apply skills in a real PvP scenario if you limit what can/cannot be used. Sure you might teach a few people to space around the GS or Zwei but that doesn't mean much if they eat CSS Bead or WoG to the face.

If you really want to learn and improve you'd use literally everything, not just some things.

I believe the focus is for everyone to spend time learning how to master a weapon. Everyone will be equal, except for just armor and weapons, so it is a very great way to learn how to use your weapon effectively and counter you opponents weapon effectively as neither of you will have certain advantages over each other. Weapon expertise is much more valuable and hard earned compared to learn how to dodge dark bead. Which is easy if there isn't lag.



Also, will there be higher level versions of this? Strength requirements demand a high strength. Count me in by the way.

 Thanks for joining.  And the Hawk Ring is allowed because it doesn't increase damage.

 Dealing with magic is WAY easier than dealing with a melee fighter.  It's less about actual skill and more about just knowing what to do.  If someone pulls out a catalyst or talisman or pyro hand, go defensive and dodge.  If you can handle the spacing and timing of a greatsword, spear, or curved sword, you can dodge a spell.

But then again maybe the outside area in Night Anor Londo.  Or the coliseum in the Painted World.

I'd go with the painted world or hidden place at Sen's. Flat areas for good dueling.

 Do Arty's arena. It's absolutely perfect for this, I've tried it with low upgrade builds personally. It's epic.
