    This might have been made before, or is a combination of other posts but I'll make it anyways.

    One brand new mechanic I hope are in the next souls game is a day/night transition.

    I also hope there are weapons that have abilities similar to some Demon Souls weapons like the ability to break equipment, steal souls, or inflict curse.

    I hope more power ups will be viable with stealth builds and won't have the stupid aura that gives you away.

    -I want a viable backstab counter move/escape.

    -Something other than dex to affect casting times.

    -Different upgrade paths that are more unique.

    -Misc. magics like wind/ice.

    More fully crystallized weapons! I get tired of using the straight sword, great sword, and shield occasionally.

    Talking NPC.
    Seriously, when they talk without their mouth moving it makes my a little bit sad.
    Also, more interactive NPC like Ostrava from DeS. It would be more realistic if NPC were fighting on your side.
    On the other hand, ability of some kind of "reviving" NPC that have been struck down on the battlefield. The price should be high enough, however. I see it like a critical wound, that slowly drains last bits of NPC's HP until their death.

    day and night would be really nice, maybe enemies can fall asleep too, then you have to ambush them? STORM THE HALLS WITH TORCH IN HAND AND BURN EM ALLL. That would be pretty epic

    Definitely need those moving lips lol. And I haven't played DemS but I watched ENB play it, and I thought how awesome it was to have that guy fighting with him. Wish they will put something like that in, maybe more refined. When i started playing DS i wondered if the crestfallen warrior would ever side with me after i became awesome lol.

    for me

    -Pick up and throw-
    I want to be able to pick stuff up, and maybe use it as a shield. Just for when I'm fisting and in a tight corner, it would be nice to just throw a barrel at an enemy and get the hew out.

    -Enemy vs Enemy-
    I kinda want to see more uses of enemy vs enemy, bosses can kill lower minions, but I like when I'm about to be killed and one group interrupts, and it becomes a 3 way battle. This happens in Monster Hunter for me. I think this would be a good opportunity since it looks like they have free roaming bosses? not sure.

    It was a thing in demons, but I'd like it back and expanded on.

    Visibility range manipulation (pvp).

    It could be done simply with gear that reduces it/extends it (from a base range) and/or done via a stat (its own stat, not a dex tie in) but I want stealth back. This would go along with phantoms armor making noise (the amount varying with the weight and compesition of the armor)

    If you get invaded, you're either going to die or get to the boss that much sooner. The fun comes from trying to kill the Invadee while the Invadee has to try to escape my clutches.

    If a Suicide were put in, there would never be any invasions.

    No suicide in PvP! That is that same as Disconnecting in a fight. Not happening.

    Double the casts/power ratio of all spells, make heavy attack increase the power but consume x2-3 casts?

    Roll cancel is a cheap fix for bs, it could be better imo.

    A roll cancel would literally take most lagstabs out of the game.
    You can't tell me you've never been killed when someone BS'd you even though you rolled away just before.
