I was generous enough to give up all 99 of my sunlight medals and even all of my copies of Gwyn's soul. As we progressed, I realized that the host understood English and he thanked me for the gifts. I was also willing to give up all of my normal and elemental titanite slabs, but wait, it gets better.
Another player invade the host's world, the host was too busy typing down a message so I had to protect him. I gave the phantom a few slahes and caused him to bleed, but I finally thought, "This guy is unarmed". I let him run away to heal, me and the host regrouped and faced the phantom, and he just stood there. He actually came in peace, he pulled out the trident of one of the channelers and insisted upon dancing for our enjoyment.
I dropped a "thank you" wood carving, and he left the host's world via his Black Separation Crystal. After having a generous trading session, and watching a great dance routine put on by a mysterious red phantom, me and the host became friends on PSN.
