Some STR/FTH build

I'm pretty sure hollow thief's looks bad on a very large.

This looks like a fairly good build. Aesthetically pleasing and can be used pretty effectively. Though as funny as Vow of Silence is, I wouldn't equip it unless you were in a place like the Forest or the Township, due to people trying to run straight to a ledge and try to Wrath of the Gods you off it. If only I could see the look on their face when their plan to push you off the ledge fails horrible and they are left staring at a talisman.

Here is a build with a grass crest shield and more health. But lacking much aesthetics. I put Great Lightning Spear so you had some kind of ranged attack for runners. http://mmdks.com/34gi

 Why a Lightning Dagger, wouldn't it be better to have a Chaos Dagger?

Or is a Lightning Dagger better for a build like this?

It is debatable. Chaos does a bit more damage, but lightning will go through defense more and it is great for chipping through shields. Nothing except the Havel shield protects all that great against lightning, so since it is a strength build, if you just did a buttload of damage to someone and they are about to die, just start hitting their shield with the dagger and chip them to death.
