Hollow Soldier Shield or Balder Shield?

I'm new to Dark Souls, and I just wanted to ask what would benefit me more? I do have both Shields, and I hear people say that the Hollow Shield is better, but at +0 the Balder Shield has a little bit more Stability than the other. sooo yea, would like to hear your answers about this

Balder. Hollow got nerfed a longass time ago.

Go for the cracked shield.  The holes in the shield make it very light.

Grass Crest, always Grass Crest.
I find that stability becomes fairly trivial in an actual duel, outside of blocking magic, so the stamina regen is very helpful.

Balder shield is one of the most stable out of all the medium shields, it's probably a good choice in the long run. It doesn't have great defense against things other than physical damage, but you should probably dodge those things rather than try to take them unless you plan on wearing very heavy armor, in which case I recommend a greatshield.
