I was at the first bonfire in Blighttown and was invaded. The fight ended when my opponent accidently rolled off the ledge. Standing at the bonfire looking back towards Blighttown I see a bag on the ground over to the right. I wander over there to see what it is, pick it up and it's 90 titanite Slabs. Has anyone had something similar occur? This was on a PS3.

Gift wraiths, yeah you see them every now and then. If i invade and see someone with a weakass weapon i normally drop them some ore, not 90 slabs though.

So are you saying they felt sorry for me when they saw my Silver Knight Straight Sword? That's incredibly nice of them.
Thanks for the explanation.

That's just me, others will just drop willy nilly. On a 120 build which i'd pretty much finished some dude dropped me 20 great hero souls and 16 slabs. I gave them to the next guy i invaded.

Re: titanite Slabs
Last time I got invaded while questing the guy (In full smoughs) just threw dung pie at me and let me beat on him with my wonderfully strong divine estoc + 2.
I have heard of the giftwraiths, and even received a present or two over the time I've spent. But 90 slabs seems like a little much, can a build even use that many without resorting to rampant use of crystal weapons?

Re: titanite Slabs
he may have meant to give 1 but messed up. I can remember doing that a few times. Thinking I gave 1 item and realized I dumped all 99. Most gifters I've met usually don't gift slabs but with the MM glitch, I'm seeing alot more gifters giving out alot of different stuff.

Re: titanite Slabs
Yeah, the guy probably screwed up. I helped a modder once throughout the game, and he dropped me 99 slabs of every color (long time ago).
So I tend to give them to people who are nice, respectful, etc. since I have no use for them anyways. (They're gone now btw).
So I tried dropping a white slab, but ended up dropping all the 70 slabs I had. The problem was, it was a random invasion in the forrest. I was freaking out at that point. But the guy was nice enough to wait half a day and returning the slabs to me. I gave him some extra items for the trouble

Either way you now have 90 slabs for weapons and armor now! I say use what was left and reap the benefits of it.

Re: titanite Slabs
I really thought that those days were gone, since they patched the Bottomless Box duping glitch. Ahh... the good old days when you could invade, drop 98 of each slab, go back and dupe, and repeat.
If someone hadn't proposed the MM glitch, I would have suggested that the invader was planning to stop playing and decided to drop their valuables.
Nonetheless, SirRyder, you are lucky. Since the patch, most people have become more frugal.
