Never seen that happen before, all I know is she goes hollow after you buy all her miracles and moves to the Duke's Archives.

you have to go after you save her, if i remember from past threads about it, petrus kills her if you go to 3 new places after you rescue her. i always save her as soon as i can since all my builds are faith builds and petrus has only killed her once, she always ends up moving to the duke's by herself.
