Most OP weapon?

not looking for hate but what weapon do you believe has the best AR at sl 120? dont take skill of use into account just take the viabliy.

Gold Tracer is pretty OP imo due to the quickness of the weapon and the high bleed build up. It's pretty much Priscillas Dagger with double the bleed build up. Should have the same bleed build up as Priscillas imo.


I would also say the Great Scythe is fairly OP. For it's stats and weight and reach is does too much damage to be balanced. It pretty well hits for nearly BKGA damage without the massive weight or stat requirement.

Not to mention it also has bleed and dead angles almost on accident.

Now in saying that none of these weapons are 'OMG That's so OP it's cheap' levels of OP like Dark Bead is (fite me), but out of the weapons I'd say they're the most unbalanced of the current game.

Also while I'm thinking about it, BKGA needs to be unnerfed too. That thing weighs a ton, has a heavy stat requirement, and was deserving of it's damage, now I never see it used anywhere (PC) because it's outclassed by easier to wield weapons, which shouldn't be the case.

I'd just like to point out that this is probably a pretty bad idea for a topic, especially with the title 'Most OP weapons'. It usually does not end well.

As for something that I think would make a very powerful weapon: Pike, enhanced with Leo, buffed with DMB or SLB.

Obviously with SL120 i could sacrifice efficiency of the build to make the AR higher, but you knwo there you go, the highest AR weapon is the DGA

Just because it's got a high AR doesn't necessarily make it OP.

You have to take into consideration stat requirements, weight, speed, moveset and other effects (like poison and bleed).

His title and post are completely different questions I gues.

Because of it's weight, great scaling, and wonderful moveset I'd say the great scythe is a head of the pack in terms of relative strength. The Murakumo is also quite the beast but it's limited by how heavy it is.

I think the Moonlight Greatsword is a total monster. It has a smooth 1h and 2h move set with it's R1s, roll attacks running attacks. And those special R2s are not only great damage, but can set up stun BSes. It also scales with Int at a very good rate giving you access to sorcery at the price of just the attunement. The only downside is that like other special weapons you can't slap a buff on it. But with it's pure magic AR it often provides insane chip damage. It just has so much going for it, and from my point of view it's only downside isn't that big of a deal as I only rarely use buffs

If I were to pick one of them, then it's definitely MLGS.

Zwei is the best str weapon? But, it has C/D/-/- scaling, making it practically quality. The DGM does much more damage on a pure str build.

Priscilla's Dagger. Combos let me hit you a crazy number of times and still have stamina to roll away from any repercussions. Definitely the Priscilla's dagger

yeah that R2 attack is absolutely lethal.

then again it's kinda balanced by the fact it's easy to dodge and the R1 attacks are rapier/curved sword like in power while a slower weapon

I don't think its balanced at all it has one of the best move sets in the game, hits as hard a a great weapon and if you know how to use that r2 you won't get parried.

Would definitely be the Murakumo. 12 units is easy to adjust to and it excels in nearly everything. It stun-locks very easily and deals great damage for not too much stamina loss.

I've always found the Dragonslayer Spear to be one of the more powerful weapons in the game.

With that being said, I hope this thread doesn't get locked because of futile discussion about how OP the broken side sword is.
