The worst weapons to use in pvp?

Alright so I know that there are good weapons, and not so good weapons. What do you think are the worst weapons to use in pvp and why?

I'll start with the Astora's Straight Sword, low damage even with high stats, and it is outclassed by most weapons in the game.

#2 Broken Straight Sword
#3 Any purely defensive shield
#4 Dark Hand
#5 Cestus
#6 Any offensive shield

Nope. Two hand any offensive shield and put on some heavy armor. You're good to go.

Theres no worts weps for pvp as longnas you believe is your self and had a lot of experience it doesnt matter what weapon your using

You can beat a full havels user with just an broken sword weps dont lead anywhere experience is what you need notyhing more

I loved your Astora's Straight Sword example. Its the perfect example of a weapon that it can't be even taken seriously in High levels PVP

I would also add crystal magic ring shield and hammer of vamos

No matter how awesome you are at PvP though, the Straight Sword Hilt is still the very worst weapon. It is inferior to every single weapon in every single way. Claiming otherwise is simply silly.

If you fought a low level guy with a fire or chaos hilt, I bet it can be effective if you know what to do.

i didnt say it wasnt worse than all the other weapons im just saying that you can use anything and win just have to be good at pvp, therefor no weapon is "bad" it just the player cannot use it well enought to win. and im not saying the player is bad either just bad with that weapon, technically you could kill someone with your fist it would just take forever since it only does like 2 or 3 damage at the most per hit. unlike in demons souls were fists actually did decent damage considering you were bare handed... dark souls player character is just bad at hand to hand lol

If you use a max upgrade chaos hilt, you'll have 106 AR of split damage. An unupgraded straight sword at base stats has roughly the same AR, but pure. So even fully upgraded via the most OP upgrade path, it's still inferior to a regular weapon without any upgrades whatsoever. Yeah, you might win, but the weapon you're using is still worse.

Astora's Straightsword - Low split damage even at high stats
Straight Sword Hilt - Self explanatory
Longbow - Slower than Shortbow and Composite Bow, outdamaged by Black Bow
Dark Silver Tracer - Rapier has better criticals, Toxic attack is hard to hit with
Mail Breaker - Same reason as Dark Silver Tracer, but without the Toxic
Ghost Blade - Low damage, no bleed like Jagged Ghost Blade or other better Daggers
Parrying Dagger - Outclassed by regular Dagger
Channeler's Trident - Low reach compared to other Spears, split damage, 2h R2 is mostly useless
Crystal Straightsword - Less damage and length than other Straight Swords but weighs more
Crystal Greatsword - Less damage than other Greatswords, outclassed by Bastard Sword which is exactly the same
Sniper Crossbow - Too slow, even for sniping
Chaos Blade - Worthless R2 means you mostly have to R1 mash which gets you parried
Blacksmith's Hammer - There are hammers that are literally better in every way; damage, weight, etc.
Spear - Outclassed by other Spears in every way; damage, weight, etc.

But some weapons are "Bad" because there are other, much better, weapons available to the player. Of course if you catch a total nooblord you could beat them silly with straight sword hilts or Astora's But all you have to do is look at other weapons to realize some weapons are just garbage.

Most of the truly offensively bad weapons have been mentioned already however I didn't see any mention of the Dragon Bone Fist. A weapon I truly truly wish was better

Most of the truly offensively bad weapons have been mentioned already however I didn't see any mention of the Dragon Bone Fist. A weapon I truly truly wish was better

I was thinking of mentioning this, but I didn't because in all honestly I have never used it, yet I know its potential since I've used a buffed Caestus before and had quite a good time, so it would only be natural that something that is stronger would have better results.

I use mail breaker, its great for cleaning up people when i weaken em down with my Greatsword.

and whips are great too cant be parried and really arent that bad especially a +15 dmb+3 notched whip

And as off hands there great for range, poison or bleed, Red tearstone with charcoal or Gold resin and off course they can be used to chip parry warriors.

I am being completely serious, every time I fight one it always ends the same way, me parrying them for the kill.

The only person I can think of off of the top of my head that can constantly kill me with a Chaos Blade is billy_bayonet, otherwise it's always the same.

I used to use a Chaos Blade, and I know you can very easily stop yourself from being parried, but looking from a dueller's perspective, it's a terrible weapon.
