If something is all powerful, surely it would need to be able to do things

a rock cannot do anything, i sits there, unmoved, lifeless

therefore, there's only two options it can not be a rock and be omnipotent, or it can be a rock and not be omnipotent

Just because it does nothing does not mean it can't be omnipotent.
Also, a boulder does nothing because there are things that keep it from doing so. Mass, Gravity, not having a sentient mind. So many factors that make the boulder do nothing.

Yet if it was omnipotent, it would have the power to overcome these. It could do whatever it wanted, as nothing is stopping it.

In the confines of this discussion, not anything except god can be omnipotent, and let´s say a human became omnipotent. Then it is no longer defined as a human and has become "God"

    And why is that?
Just because God is omnipotent, that means that every omnipotent being is now God?

Dibs, a god is a super natural extremely powerful entity. So yes it would become a god.

    As I said before;

"The attributes of the item that holds the title is not what the title means. Just because a boulder holds the title of being omnipotent, that does not mean that omnipotent beings are the same as a boulder."

Just because God is omnipotent, that doesn't mean that everything that is omnipotent is now God.

God is a completely different thing from omnipotency. He does not define it, but rather holds the title of it.

Dibs what you're doing is saying you could point at something random and say "that is omnipotent", then when I say "well it's not, obviously" you end up replying "Well you can't prove it's not"

This is gonna just go in circles dibs.

I never said it wouldn't become a god, I said it would not become God.

Unless I misunderstood that because you forgot to capitalise the G in god, my argument still stands.

A god is an extremely powerful supernatural entity.

Anything that is omnipotent would be powerful beyond known comprehension and would thus be supernatural.

Thus anything omnipotent is also a god.

Yes, that I can agree with. I can not however agree that anything that is omnipotent becomes God himself.

Does it really matter? They all believe in a God too. Just because he is different from another religion does not change anything. In their religion, God is omnipotent as well.
