Because I was bored and had SC on the mind. Not all are meant to be practical. Enjoy.

I thought alpha patroklos was trained by Setsuka and used a quickdraw style. The Iato would make more sense.

Wasn't thinking about it at the time.
Leo Ring would also fit better than Wolf.

The tricky part with Nightmare is that he's actually using his sword in his left arm. It's too bad they don't allow lefties in Dark Souls, really.

I like your builds, though. happy

Thanks! Yeah, there are a couple lefties in the SC world. Guess when they are thrown into Lordran they have to learn to be ambidextrous! thumbs up

The new Nightmare is already ambidextrous.

That is true. You see, I got my old gamecube out and I have been playing Soul Calibur 3. I guess I just prefer that rendition of Nightmare, though I do appreciate SC 5's art direction.

I like SC 5 Nightmare's moveset, it's still as fluent as ever, especially compared to other characters where the moveset is very choppy and hard to control, a good example being α Patroklos. Took me awhile to get his moveset down, but he's been Godlike for me ever since.

I have always mained Rock. Many think of him as the worst character because his moveset is so grab focused, but that is what I love about him. On the other end of the spectrum, I like Tira.

Astoroth is kind of grab focused too, but it's one reason I like him so well. You can feign normal attacks and go into unblockables that you can also juggle with into a grab attack. I used to know a combo with SC5 Astoroth that could literally take down 7/8 of your opponents health while only needing to get the first hit in because the rest was unblockable.

I am just crushed that they did not being Talim back. She is so fun to play as! Her mixups were good despite her short range, and her wakeup game was not half bad either.

Talim was my favourite SC2 char, hands down. I can not tell you how many times I beat Weapon Master with Talim. She introduced me to the difficulty beyond "Normal", and that's when I began to master guard impacts, but since SC5 doesn't really implement it, I kind of learned for nothing.

If/when SC6 comes out, I hope the bring guard impacts back.

I agree. I found the near abcence of the mechanic in SC5 to be really strange. I also could have done without flashy finishing moves, but thats just me. I prefer to leave those for things like BlazBlue and Guilty Gear.

I don't like most of the finishing moves, but I have to admit a few of them were pretty cool, like a Patroklos' and Siegfried's.

Although I do think a few of them were a little overpowered, I mean Nightmare's basically gave you an infinite guard impact and if your opponent hit it then the final did like 2x more damage. Even if you avoided attacking during the charge the attack itself would crush your guard if not guard break you.

While that wouldn't be so bad in normal cases, it's just the fact that it can literally do 250+ damage and OHKO someone without the slightest warning.

I think cassandra and sophitia should use the effigy shield, its more like the shields they use, though a bit dark, maybe

    Ashlotte 4ever!

I made a really good look-a-like of her in SC5, unlike in Dark Souls where it seems barely possible..

Antiquated Dress + Waistcloth of the Channelers, we were on to the same general (but lousy) idea. I also gave her Havel's Gauntlets to simulate her armored forearms, but the head is impossible.
