A friend has tasked me with guiding his current build into a 120, preferably one that uses the Abyss sword cause he likes the flip (who doesn't)

    His current: http://mmdks.com/2il9

    My Update: http://mmdks.com/2il7

I feel a good deal of my "I like spells" bias shows through in this. So perhaps some other folks can take a stab at a more melee focused version and I can just have my buddy choose between the builds posted here.

I know I'm pretty new, but I thought I would offer this more melee style build.

I have absolutely no idea whether or not this will work, but I hate magic, so I thought I would like to make my own little adjustment to it. I am actually quite tempted to make a new character and try this one out, as I have never used the abyss sword before.

The talisman and the pyromancer hand could potentially be switched around, if your friend is more comfortable about using pyromancy accompanied by a shield.

This is more focused on stealth, and the hidden weapon will give invaders a surprise when he front-flips. I hope you like it.

http://mmdks.com/2iqz well rounded, max scaling, good hp, poise and def. raising int/fth is not worth it with an abyss sword build, the point of the weapon is its beastly range and damage, so unless you're 27/40 or 40/40 don't further invest in int or fth. i actually like abyss sword best without any att with just a bow as support, but since your buddy already invested in att the option is gone. gimmick option is 45dex for good bead and orb utility..prolly pair with pyro instead of miracles
