empty chest behind framp...

Hello folks,

I forgot what it was about the empty chest behind framp! There was some item in this chest later in the game, wasn't it? What was it and what is the trigger?

And a second empty chest is in A L behind the Boss Gwyndolin. What was it with this chest?

When you lose an important item (like the orange charred ring) for whatever reason, it respawns in that chest. Under normal circumstances it should not ever contain anything.

That chest is just empty. Nobody knows...

It holds the maiden set I think depending on whether you get it from the archives or not.

Nope. I didn't get the Maiden set until NG+++ and killed Gwyndolin every time, and every time there was just an empty chest

I'm checking the Maiden set rumour as we speak. I googled it just to be sure (dunno why the OP didn't just do that) and saw that it might contain the Maiden set.

Edit: Right, so I saved Reah from the Tomb of Giants, bought all her ****, she vanished (hollowed in Duke's), killed Gwyndolin, all before even placing the Lordvessel. Chest still empty.

Myth busted.

For the chest in Gwyndolin's tomb, it's probably the one that used to contain the Brass set worn by the Darkmoon Knightess.

In the hall of the painting guardians is a chest on the left side of the stony portrait of Gwynevere. How do I get to this chest? Is there a hidden door or a false wall? And what is in this chest? Is it worth the effort?

By making Reah Hollow you trigger that the Maiden set is in the Archives, try killing her or let Petrus kill her and then check the Chest .

You can reach the chest above the rafters in the Painted Guardian room in Anor Londo. It contains a single Divine Blessing.

When you climb down the ladder, walk or roll off the edge to the platform holding the three statues. Walk across the platform and roll to a hallway below. You should be able to find your way back.

That chest.... it took me a long time to find a way to get to it. Lots of deaths trying to jump across to it from a rafter.
