    New Weapon Classes

    I don't think from Demon's Souls to Dark Souls there were any weapon classes added, so if they would in Dark Souls II, what would you like them to implement? I would personally like:
    - Nets
    Nets could be a viable item if used, probably won't be implemented but, hey anything goes.
    - Flails
    Morning stars, kusari-gamas, heavier whips with longer reach.
    - More throwable weapons
    Tomahawks, boomerangs, better throwing knives,chakrams, even rocks.
    - Tonfa
    Would be a fast alternative for blunt damage.
    - Sort of like a sledgehammer
    Pretty much a crescent axe, but a hammer.
    - MORE POLEARMS
    Naginatas, Voulges, Bardiches, longer reach the better!
    - Staffs
    This is pretty obvious, a long reaching blunt alternative.

    Anything you guys want implemented? I pretty just ran through what Dark/Demon's Souls didn't have and thought would be a useful addition.

    Dark Souls introduced greatbows, curved greatswords, whips, and a loft of casting media.

    I want the ability to maybe convert some weapons, such as mounting small weapons on poles or chains

    I'd think it's easier to modify guns than melee weapons.

    staffs is one i really want

    I'd also love it if thrown weapons eg throwing knives became viable and scaled with dex/str whichever is appropriate

    Nun-chucks

    Staves

    Scaling throwing knives (like serious said)...or at least ones that bleed.

    Heat-seeking arrows

    Guns...j/k, j/k.

    Catalysts that function as a viable weapon...staves?

    But nun-chucks...Bruce Lee cosplay all...the...way.... 8)

    Thrown weapons should have increased range if you have STR, and increased damage if you have Dex.

    A stave is something I want to have. Also weapons that have chains attach to swing them around, and a wider range of throwing weapons is good too.

    Sometimes I honestly think a graple would be a great addition.

    Also, I want staves, both melee and longe range.

    In PvP, something like a boomerang could always outspace everything and would never lose.

    a distinction between greathammers and greatclubs... double weapons would be cool, like a two bladed sword with 3 different attack buttons and a block button.

    something like the crazy sh*t found in monster hunter, the gun-lance, haha I like that game.
    I don't mind the idea of weird guns if it was balanced, its balanced in monster hunter and that game has some of the most similar gameplay to dark souls out of any game.

    maybe a pet or summoning system as a weapon class, dunno probs wouldnt work and be impossible to balance.

    i would like it to be more viable to run a bow or crossbow as a primary weapon

    i want great scythe back with same moveset and DBS back with same moveset lol

    Arrows and bolts that fly fast enough you can't evade them by simply walking a step to the side while drinking your afternoon tea.

    Crossbows that don't inject their wielder with debilitating drug that makes the user reload after each friggin' shot.

    Martial arts. I know it's not a weapon class, but I sometimes need to kick my opponent deep into his face. I want to see my shoes label on their forehead.

    Most of all. I want the weapons to have wide variety of movesets, which aren't total bs in some cases. One of the reasons why I don;t use specific weapon class, is because the avatar uses that weapon like a idiot. My favourite is Scimitar. I had to resist facepalming every time I saw someone swing that thing.

    A thrown spear I think would be a good addition. especially if it had the ability to pin an opponent to the wooden walls, etc.

    It probably wouldn't be the most practical thing ever, but I think it would be cool to see a ball and chain type of weapon. I imagine the moveset wouldn't be very diverse, but I think it would be a cool weapon for strength-focused builds.

    Gun's should be an expensive consumable item like throwing knives. Shoot it and throw it away. Maybe it could be used as a viable way for melee classes to have ranged if they are willing to part with 5000 souls each shot. High speed, medium damage, shields block it 100%.
