is it really that bad? to me it looks like a great way to make a build, the guy was kind enough not to put in divine blessings so whats the problem? i don't want any fighting BTW and no i have not used it and i don't think i plan to.

    Some people think it's great.

Some people think it ruins the game.

Who wants to be that blue?

that is a good point. i think not having to struggle making a build would create more unique builds.

    What is the mega mule?

Whatever it is, i'm sure it doesn't come close to Xbox/PC save editor and PC Cheat Tables

it basically gives you everything, every upgrade and enough souls to complete a build instantly. with the exception of the Elisabeth mushrooms and divine blessings.

It's a decent idea but the problem is it's going to be abused, at least he left out mushys and DB's. Twinking ain't easy well now it is.

    The good :
If you want to test a new build, you don't have to "sacrifice" 15-20h to finaly see it doesn't work as well as you thought.

    The bad :
Some things may be abused :
    - Having 5 stacks of wog, BD and other things. It's possible to get it the regular way, but discouraging. You may be likely to face more of this kind of build with mega mule.
    - You have 99 titanite slabs. I see it as a buff to crystal weapons. One exemple:
A crystal barbed straight sword +5 has the same 1H AR than a broadsword +15 at 27/40. You almost basicaly have free bleed because of megamule.

All in all, I think it's OK, and it's definitely great for anyone "serious".

I wouldn't say its wrong at all. It is not something I would ever use however, as it would remove my build satisfaction. For me, the fun lies not only in the final product, but also in the journey to make it. Seeing how it slowly progress into what I want it to be, is one of the many reasons I love making builds.
If I used this to make my dream build within seconds, where would the fun be in it?

is this something you can buy much like a dlc or is it something you make yourself?
if you make yourself, it's no different than the bottomless box glitch they used to have

the only thing i don't like about it are the stacks of spells that it comes with, dark bead spamming and dead angle wrath of god spamming was bad enough when players only had one or two copies of the spells, now they have five before they even leave the asylum.

that and i don't like smurfs…they freak me out.

I like my smurf, I've spent countles hours in legit game and platinumed legit, after 500+ hrs came BB glitch and it served me well for another 1000 hrs, now enter MM for another way of having fun...this game is awesome in so many ways and it grew along the way...this is just another milestone in the lifecycle...we get some we loose some, we lost so much through nerfs along the way, then again we gained so much throug BB and MM, it's up to the player not to abuse others but that's just up to the player himself, gankers think about themselves as griefers police most of the time, vaders think that they are what's this game about...the truth is out there!

i love it, i was able to ditch my old PSN name (that i hated) and swap over to my new one (now in sig) and create builds i always wanted to but never had the patience to create. Like my new Pyro build, always wanted to make it but never wanted to beat the game 3+ times in a build that doesn't use any melee just to get the spells.

Created at least 10 legit builds all went to NG++, all prior to BB glitch, if it wasn't for BB glitch I wouldn't be playing this game past last spring, I don't think it was wrong...

I love the megamule because it gives me the ability to experiment with different builds without having to spend many hours to try out a build. With the megamule, I can make easy adjustments and fine tune it to my liking. I much preferred the BB glitch though so I can customize my own characters. Very slim blue smurfs are meh

Note: you don't have to be blue....but you CAN be winking

    Thoughts on this....
Xbox and PC already had rampant uses of the same "technique" prior to the MM from what I hear. This levels the playing field somewhat for PS3 players but I would say it's not as bad. Simply because it still is a predetermined set of "gifts." Xbox and PC similar techniques can take this several steps further.....scratch that....A BAZILLION steps further into the area of evil more easily. It should be stated that ALL platforms can take this to the most evil reaches but PS3 has the best setup to make it a pain in the *** for people who try. Not impossible, just harder

I haven't done a lot of PvP so I'm admittedly not the best judge but I haven't seen a major spike in spammers and the like which is the biggest concern. That's the evil it can bring and I'm not sure how much it is bringing.

Related note: I've seen an increase in PS3 hacker sightings but it seemed like it started a little bit before the MM was brought out. Both are similar but from what I've seen (and I admit I could be wrong) the hackers led to the MM not the other way around.

I know you don't have to be blue but I end up using all the characters. It's not a big deal since I can just completely dress up my char but I wish we could customize our chars. I have been pvping a lot in the burg and there was a slight increase in magic users and dark bead spammers when the MM first came out. I see them every now and then but much less than before. I did run into two hackers though :|

I see tons of hackers on the PS3 now, I ran into 5 different ones in just a few hours this weekend. Ninja flipping full havels (at sl55), empty HP bar, infinite WoGs, crystal greatswords that swing like longswords and one shot everything, even ran into one guy who spent the entire fight in the crucified "T" character model position, just spinning in circles spraying invisible dark beads while it looked like he was flying. I think the mega mule had a lot to do with this since it is just way too coincidental, and encourage folks to play the game the way it was meant to be. I don't fast forward through Beethoven's Ode to Joy just because I've heard it a thousand times, and a masterpiece like Dark Souls is no less deserving of respect.

...never ran into a hacker and I'm out there all the time...by all means let From patch this...I couldn't care less, I would still play the game and find my way around without starting from scratch, but if I could not find that way I wouldn't play that's for sure!

When would I have the time to go and make full Paladin Leeroy that needs lvl 199 to fast roll...?
Never, but I'm having fun with him now, he's got 1590 HP, norhing much, 1 att slot, he's 40 Int, so I don't have much of advantage over anyone, I just need 99 End so he can fastroll...

So I realy don't feel like a douche because of MM...
