Tell me your route when you play.

Hey guys. I was just wandering which route do you guys use when you play, I know that some of you finished the game more then fingers can count.

Mine so far:

Undead Asylum -> Undead Parish -> Darkroot (I don't kill Sif here, but I do kill Moonlight and Hydra) -> Blighttown -> Queelag's --> Sen's --> Anor Londo --> Sif --> Catacombs --> Tomb of Giants --> Painted World

Catacombs
Blighttown in the back door with master key
Parish via valley of drakes get grass shield on the way
Depths to get my sack & the ember, don't kill the boss
Sens
Anor londo
Sif
New londo for the ember and dw armour
Painted world
Then the rest in any order.

Asylum->Cats (for GLS depending on build stats)->Burg->Darkroot(kill no bosses)->Parish->Lower Burg->Blighttown->New Londo (drain+Ember)->Sen's->AL->Sif->4kings(Join DW)->Archives->Royal Wood->Tomb->Ruins->Izalith->Manus->Gwyn

Undead Asylum -> Undead Burg -> Undead Parish -> BlightTown(through valley of drakes) -> Sen's Fortress ->Anor Londo.

After that it depends on what I need. I never finish the game through Kiln of the first flame.

That's it, after that I'm normally too bored or finished with my build.

Very much depends on my weapon choice. But, in general, I make a mad dash to Anor Londo to be able to warp. I also do New Londo and ToG last.

Wow, I would never rush Catacombs, it's not a scary place, but it takes time to kill those skeletons with a weapon that has not been upgraded and without any stats.

I noticed that some people skip Painted World, is that ok? Or when you say Anor Londo you include Painted World?

Don't have to fight the skellies, you can run past most or just kick\force them off the cliffs.
Firelink->Blight town->Catacombs->Lower Burg->Depths->->New Londo->Parish->Sens->Anor Londo->Painted World->Demon ruins->Tomb->Forest>DLC->Dukes->Kiln.

I can't imagine myself killing Stray Demon as my first boss... He can one hit kill you.

I can't imagine myself killing Stray Demon as my first boss... He can one hit kill you.

He doesn't even hit the parish until he has gone through firelink 2x, burg, graveyard, blighttown, the great hollow, the valley of drakes, and darkroot. He probably isn't rocking a lvl 1 character at that point ^_^.

You can't possibly return to the asylum until you've been to the parish to activate the shortcut, unless I'm mistaken.

i will have opened up all the shortcuts and have access to either the gravelord sword, dragon weapons or black knight weapons depending on drops. if i want a +15 weapon the only boss i have to kill is capra.

Asylum, standard route to Gargoyles, Quelaag's Domain through depths, back out through valley of drakes, Anor Londo, Lorvessel, all the way to Seath, all the way to Nito, ,all the way to BoC, New Londo, farming some chunks in the Kiln then Gwyn. Optional areas are done in no particular order, but always after Lordvessel.
