BSS and Leo - what is true

hello folks,

I read a lot in this forum here and I found two contradictory statements about the BSS's RT/R2 thrust attack and the Leo ring!
What is true now? I have DS PtDE. Does the Leo ring have an effect on the amount of damage this attack induces?

I think it's been confirmed by the community that it does increase the counter damage of the BSS R2 attack. I don't use the sword myself so someone else should still give their input.

If in doubt, you can check against computer opponents. The hollows in the first area should do.

It's true, martyrs got absolutely destroyed by it in a recent battle of the uploaders vid.

Ps don't believe the rumours that the BSS has an R1 move.

It scales. I know from experience.

ANY weapon with thrusting animation in the moveset (and even some that don't) can get benefit from the Leo ring as far as the weapon does physical dmg.

The leo ring only boosts counter damage of thrust weapon, So it wont make the BSS R2 stronger 100% of the time, only during its counter animations

aye, but amidst your argument over stamina damage, i believe you overlooked the fact the OP was asking if the leo ring boosted the R2 attack of the BSS which it does in ONLY special circumstances I.E. Counter damage
