Help with armour Empty Help with armour

    Post by Serious_Much Fri Mar 02, 2012 1:05 pm

Right on my new PvP build, I can use a total of 42 equip weight.

On weapons I'm gonna have used up 13.3 weight so I got 28.7 left for armour.

    What suggestions you got guys?

don't have dingy robe silly i just kill lautrec straight away now :|

What i know i can do is elite knight, black iron leggings and paladins gauntlets no head, but paladin gauntlets look pretty lame with the rest..

though if you got any setups you'd recommend for not much weight im happy to hear them (since you use heavy weapons)

If you haven't already, upgrade a bunch of armors and mix and match til you find something good.

I'm asking so that I don't have to upgrade a bunch of armours since i still gotta level up to 120 still and cant be bothered to grind out and farm that long really (yes i know i'm being lazy silly)

Knight chest, black iron greaves, and steel gauntlets 10.8/9.2/8.3 = 28.3. sub steel with clerics if you want a mask/crown. looks decent, 50 ish poise 350ish defence. (might be disturbing on a male as it looks suspiciously like plate mail combined with a skirt/tights)

I used many combinations with Crimson and Gold hemmed sets. Paladin or stone gauntlets look pretty sweet with either although the stone in particular will tax your weight. Channeler's waistcloth is a good substitute for either set to for looks and additional protection. Wanderer's hood upgraded made it into my final mix and match armor set.

weighs too much, knights is more efficient with his limit. the gauntlets get to sucking below that so they cant drop and the black iron is over 1/3 of his defence/poise.

his, mines knights chest@black iron gauntlets/Greaves, mom. 30.4lbs 56 poise
(imo) it looks awesome with black knights chest but i cant spare the weight with this build. better still if i also add the dusk crown but taking a hornets ring, lightning zwie bs and living is too good to pass up.

I personally prefer having medium body armour and mixing it up like that, I don't think having light armour with fat leggings looks good though silly onion helm i think looks silly too XD

ah well i reckon the set pirates recommended me looks good in my mind, only know how separate pieces look but assembled think it will look good, stats seem pretty mean too big grin
