    I've been using this build and it is nigh on impossible to play with.I am good at dodging and timing my hits but dear lord,never before has lag been such an issue.I keep getting hit despite having rolled through attacks and just died to pursuers,having rolled through them and watched them keep going without turning.Three seconds later,I'm dead.
    To keep this thread constructive,does anyone have any tips for me? I've lost a fair few matches and I'm about to abandon ship.

    Looks like a pretty good build to me... I would've stopped at 50 INT... but it doesn't really matter... I'd also get rid of Pursuers in favor of getting an extra spell- perhaps HCSM?

    I play a few glass cannon builds and of course they die a lot... But they are fun because they force you to use your creativity to win... With such low Vit you can't take any hits anyway- so you have to figure out a way to finish off your opponent fast before they can catch you in a mistake... I'd suggest don't get discouraged because of a few losses... Keep playing around and you'll find the most effective strategies for you...

    What I mean is you can do pretty much comparable damage at SL 50, no need to go to SL 130.

    I got to agree with Pendant here. The weapon hits very hard and the magic is a massive issue for player but at that level you die so often due to the low vit which at that high sl makes you a 1 hit kill. Re distribute some int points into vit and lower the sl and you can be a real danger to people.

    I would stick to projectile/spells only. Too much risk with getting hit.

    The problem with spells is everyone dodges them 9/10 times.I wanted to try a mage but it just isn't viable.The only way to hit with magic is by surprise so you either get a one hit kill or switch to a weapon for a while.

    Oh no. That is not the only way. You can trick them. Different magic combos, baiting rolls, manually aiming your spells (many people dodge predictable to the left or right). Just a higher learning curve.

    It doesn't matter in my experience,if they have dodged in the last half hour,your spell misses.Even if they fatroll.I'm not claiming to be a good mage,just that good timing never matters for me.Even my fireballs miss,no matter what version I use.I fear lag makes it impossible for me to do anything but melee.

    Fire a few ranged spells, then switch to a great combustion and manual aim it in their face. With bellow + dusk you'll hit over 600 and 2 will stagger most builds.

    Manual aim is great but requires practice. For a little while I was pretty good with fireballs but that was a few months back.

    Lag can also make it almost impossible to dodge if you're using things like Pursuers and Dark Bead. Most people (including myself) have a ton of trouble compensating the lag for those damn spells.

    stop being wasteful.
    Glass Cannons are amazing, but you need to know how to use your spells appropriately. I read earlier that you think magic isn't viable because it's difficult to hit with: to which I'd reply: "No, you're not viable." Magic is a mindgame, and you beat people with it by causing them to make mistakes. Dark Orb is great for causing mistakes if you can manual aim.

    May be good for a higher SL caster. Not exactly pure, not really a glass cannon either. But if you want a chance of surviving at higher SL's, this is the way to go.
