Now get on topic and write some Junior High Grade Poetry people!

    Rap is better
    just kidding poetry is awesome.
Anyways I will now try to review your poem.
The willful persevere references the fact that Dark Souls can only be completed by those who are patient.
Life brings friends and foes references the fact that in Dark Souls during your "life" (playthrough) You gain many allies and enemies, but your allies soon become enemies too (they hollow)
An end starts the adventure all over again represents the never ending cycle of Fire and Dark, it also represents NG+
Choices are simply an illusion says with hard truth that in Dark Souls both endings are equally bad, you kindle the flame, you just repeat the same course again and again, you become the Dark Lord, you unleash the Abyss on the world just like in Oolacile.
    Beautiful poem by the way

You got one thing wrong, friends and foes refers to Invaders and Summons after reversing Hollowing.

    Dammit
Didn't even think about multiplayer while reading that.

I began to drink my Flask
    It was tiring me out
    That one such an enemy
Could put on such a bout

    I fought and I fought
    With no succession
then I had to do it
    so here's my confession

    Ornstien and Smough
    were just too hard
    even with all my might
    they would destroy my guard

So I had to get help
there was no way around it
    I summoned Brolaire
and I knew it was the fit

    To the unsolvable puzzle
    That was Ornstien and Smough
    And now I could proceed
It was the end of the show

    I went up the elevator
    Crying all my tears
    But little did I know
It was only the beginning of my fears

    I met the fair lady
She was a nice old woman
    but in reality
    I was the villain

When I attacked her I knew
    I had made a mistake
    When all of a sudden
a voice that made me shake

    The master of the dark
    poured me into the black
I knew what I had done
I knew I'd never come back

    So on I went
    with Lordvessel in hand
to the site of the one and only
    the great Gwyndolin

    We fought and we fought
    Until the day's end
but even I, a lowly warrior
    Had him pinned

    When it was all over
    I said with a shout
    "Fair man
    What was this all about?"

    I knew my mistake
    I had to get away
    but then I was invaded
    and that was the day

That I knew I had to leave
But I knew I would return
    For the Lordvessel I received
    Would be ever so stern

    To bring me to Duke's
    to match up with Seath
but I knew I would die
    For I had beseech

    All of my sins
to the one known as Oswald
    for if I had not
    I would still be called

    The slayer of the one
And the only one for sure
    the one and only Gwynevere
    That would destroy my demeanor

What everyone did on their first playthrough
