I'm questing in the Depths, and after killing the giant rat just before the waterfall, I'm invaded by a guy with a ridiculous name. After waiting for about 3 minutes for him arrive, oh man he was a giantdad. I lost to him due to my severely low poise, (forgot to get the Wolf's ring back in my first playthrough) and he pulls out the, "Well! What is it!" gesture on me. I send that **** bastard (pardon my language) a message saying "Cmon Bro -_-", I get a reply about a minute later saying, "THE LEGEND NEVER DIES". Indicted that lowlife because his username fits him very well.

For all you blades of the Darkmoon on PS3, if you invade this jackhole, do me a favor and murder him mercilessly with the dirtiest of tactics. No one kills a warrior of sunlight and gets away with it. Oh Man.... 2905764326

Here is the thing my friend about those Douchewrath, they killed their area boss so we Darkmoons can't invade them. So basically their can be a douche and troll all they want without fearing getting trolled back by Darkmoons. The way I see it, that's why there are so many douches and cowards in the darkwrath covenant right now.

I just made a low level pvp build. Didn't kill gaping dragon on purpose so when I farm rats I get invaded by some of these guys. Most of them are just trying to pick on under-equipped questers and it's fun watching em panic when someone actually comes at them. twisted

1. OP was in ng+ he wasn't invaded by a low level griefer, i assume it was a fair fight
2. DW keep PvP running and they have to be evil....u believe Frampt that dirty liar? So u have to die, doesn't matter how!
Invading without knowing what awaits you is cowardly?
No Estus, host can be 100 sl above you and have 2 summons with him is cowardly?
Taking every measure to win in that bad situation is douche?
3. Indictment keep PvP running for the DM, it's not douche or bad loser to use ist. It's an honor for the Invader to get the Indictment and he will get more PvP from the DM with them.
I only indict honorable and good DW to show them my respect and to give them more of that, what they like - PvP. And i'm proud and glad about every indictment i get.
4. Try to fight with big and slow STR weapons without enough poise/defence. Havel/Giant/Masks is made for big and slow STR Weapons and giant mom/dad is beatable, it's not the instant win button you press, you have to pratice with those chars.
My main chars use STR weapons and all wear giant chestpiece, havels gauntlets and pants and mask of child...and yes i invade with this - deal with it and pratice counter Oh Man.... 558843162

Thing is, in this game, death is not a penalty. especially when you die in other people's world as a DW. you don't even lose your human form. I never feel pressure when I'm invading as a DW, because even if I die, I just need to walk few steps and pick up my blood stain. Gankers? no problem, I will just back crystal out. I even have the option to not letting them gain anything from me. The same can't be said for a host, when you die as a host, you lose a humanity. For a invading DW, even if I end up with a double kill with the host, I still gain one humanity. but the host will lose one. sure he will get some souls, but what's the point of getting souls if you are planing to cap at that level anyway. As for being a douche, I also taunt people after I kill them, if, only if they heal repetitively or gank me. but some douche wrath will taunt no mater how fair a fight you gave them. No mater if you bowed, let them buff and didn't heal, they will still do they little taunts like they are some kind of hotshot. That's what angers me. So I usually host in the Kiln as a Darkmoon, because I know if I run into some douche who likes their little taunts, I can invade them taunt back. Why taunt a people who fights fairly anyway?

Taunting is not nice, i agree, but i don't bother any more. Let them be douches and move on. Much more fun with this game i can promise you.

If i go anywhere with boss alive not hollow, i host there and expect invader...i even want them to come and take the "risk" of losing one humanity. One humanity isn't really very much.
For the first time quester it might be hard to get to your bloodstain, but not for someone who hosts on purpos.
And in burg i also lost my humanity (who talks about souls? no one needs them any more) as a red, when i died after a duel via rss....cause if fell down on the f***king steps....never lock-in there and start to roll!

Well everybody got his own rules and as long as they have fun with it, i'm ok with it. It's part of the game, so you have to live with it.

I don't defend all the douchebags, but not all DW are douchebags and i got rules of my own.

I would never taunt, doesn't matter what happend.
BS is very restricted...i started with zero BS policy, but that doesn't work. There are situations, when you have to BS, or die.
Never run away, don't black crystal out, don't disconnect, no jumping down for suicide. Alone before a bossfog, i might decide to enter...
And if FC goes to artys arena, i will quit game when the fog to township goes up and i don't have my bloodstain back sitting at bonfire. Thats one risk for a invader, if you die you are still alive and could get invaded on your way to your bloodstain.
And last rule is no invading pre AL with post AL gear on SL under 50.

Have fun with your own rules, and if you don't have fun with it try to change them.

In AL I once invaded a guy with YOLO on his GT.Flasking Ganker with dark armor,smough's hammer and hornet ring obviously.Never thought those people would take their "way of life" so seriously...
Of course he was probably a troll,but for some reason I like to think that was a honest account.

Darkwraiths, even though you may see them as "douches" are there to balance the game. It is easy mode to summon phantoms and let them beat the game for you. You would think nothing of constantly healing your phantom or ganking a DW. So, why is it bad for them to return the favor?

And, DW have to kill the boss in the level they're invading. Otherwise, there will be invasions, and, more annoyingly, failed invasions where you can't use a red eye orb for some time. It really can make invading impossible.

When i want PvP i don't mind if i get invaded, or invade myself.....BUT i keep saying that:
In FC or on our Events it sucks hard to see your rss disapear (or even get invaded), because you also got the boss alive there (to be able to host) and they start to invade instead of just dropping your rss and wait. Yes it's faster for the host to get the duels running, cause he can have 3 reds....but it sucks for everyone who got the boss there alive and dropped the rss.
Please don't invade in the FC or the Events, just drop your rss. Don't want to make a special hosting (most bosses alive) and one fighting build (all bosses dead) for every SL range we fight in
