I've had to deal with this before. It was pretty annoying because of how high his defense was. I got in a lot of backstabs on him too and still lost.

omg!! I had an idea to host a cosplay themed fight club with my gravelord... I would cosplay as the "Gravelord Golem" using full iron golem set and axe... and one friendly darkwraith would cosplay as BP Tarkus! SOVs would have to fight both of us to remove the curse from their world

Tarkus....he can take the iron golem out solo, beat the crap out of the bomb throwing giants, is strong as heck and has a good health bar....Why on Earth would anyone want to FIGHT him? I would BC out so fast it would be laughable.

All summonable NPC's are OP as hell, Trident buff or not. The thing is, Tarkus is actually quite easy to kill because he rarely dead-angle you. You're should only lose if the host is also attacking you.

i've summoned Tarkus and just waited at the boss fog for invaders. it was amusing watching Tarkus tank wrath of god after wrath of god. then finally stab the invader to death in one two handed power attack with that epic greatsword of his. all the while balancing on that narrow walkway leading up to the Iron Golem.
the best one though is being in the Undead Parish at level 30 on NG7 and summoning Solaire and Lautrec and waiting for griefers to show up. now that's a ganktastic good time.

anybody is in ng+7 on an average SL on ps3?
All NPCs are laughable easy on ng and ng+, especially Solaire is a bad joke.
Would love to fight a ng+7 Solaire buffed with trident - anybody up for hosting that fight? (after the next patch please - i won't play until the flickering is patched)

I did that yesterday, as SL10, in NG++. Was pretty funny. They still only did like 400-500 damage per hit though, which is usually not a 1-shot...
Gonna go to NG+++ now to see if that fixes it.

That is the only way I have been able to kill Tarkus at Sen's. Other than that I just dodge and try to knock the host off the edge or something similar...
